JR’s grandson appointed SLFP Gampaha district organizer

Grandson of former President J.R Jayewardene, Pradeep Jayewardene has been appointed as Gampaha District Organizer of the SLFP by President Maithripala Sirisena today, President’s Media said.
He was among 11 other new party organizers appointed by the President.

Why are Jayawardena’s joining SLFP? For how long was he a SLFP member? If my memory is correct, Ravi was married to a Ratnam (Sri Lankan Tamil) and had three sons. Later they divorced and he married Penny White (Sri Lankan burgher). I have not heard of any children in the second marriage.
Sirisena is batting well and truly to his foreign masters. What a change in the village idiot.
