No-confidence motion against PM handed over to Speaker

The motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has been handed over to the Speaker of Parliament by MPs representing the Joint Opposition.
Joint Opposition leader Dinesh Gunawardena handed over the motion to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya at 2.30pm today (21).
The motion has reportedly been signed by a total of 55 MPs including 51 from the Joint Opposition and 4 MPs from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).
The SLFP members who have signed include T.B. Ekanayake, Nishantha Muthuhettigama, Susantha Punchinilame and Kader Masthan.
The SLFP Parliamentary Group had said it would decide on the motion of no-confidence after discussing the points included after it is presented to the Parliament.
Meanwhile minister of the United National Party (UNP) have said that they would defeat the motion in Parliament.

Justice delayed is justice denied. It is good this long delayed no confidence motion is finally presented. But the delay allowed more than enough time to Ranil to fortify his position.
Assuming all MPs other than JVP and TNA will vote, 48 more votes are needed to win. JVP and TNA will oppose it only if they get their demands from the UNP. SLFP must support it to keep their little relevance. Some UNPers will abstain from voting.
Most likely the delay caused so far will let Ranil off the hook as he had enough time win over his fellow UNPers and also JVP and TNA. Happy to be proven wrong.

If the JVP votes AGAINST the No-Confidence Motion, they will contradict all they have been saying in Parliament.
Let us see how they will vote, and whether they will stand by their holier-than-thou pronouncements or whether they will PROVE to be HYPOCRITES hanging onto vestigial power by Ranil’s coat-tails!

I am DISAPPOINTED about the NARROW CONTENT of the No-Confidence Motion.
The CONTENT of the NCM FOCUSES PRIMARILY on ECONOMIC MISMANAGEMENT and the Bond Scam. The PARA-GATHI AGA-MATHI is responsible for MANY MORE CRIMES against the Nation.
Why are other important issues like the proposed Federal Constitution, the Witch Hunt against the War-Heroes, the Crucifixtion of Sri Lanka in Geneva, the Selling of CRITICAL National Assets to Foreigners, the Subjugation of our country to India through agreements such as the ETCA, the blind disregard of Muslim colonization of government lands, the unrestricted INFLUX of foreign illegals and missionaries into Sri Lanka, and the exercise of near-sovereign power by the TNA in the Northern and Eastern Provinces, NOT MENTIONED in the No-Confidence Motion?
These ISSUES were CENTRAL to the DISSATISFACTION the VOTERS demonstrated in the Local Govt Election of Feb 10, 2018!
Who the HELL crafted this No-Confidence Motion? Do they think they are going to get help from minority MP”s by avoiding them?
DREAM ON …. Minorities, with perhaps the sole exception of Christian Catholics, will OPPOSE IT unanimously!
We have to RELY on CONSOLIDATING the votes of Sinhala MP’s ….. Both Buddhist and Christian!

Looks like JO has fallen to My3’s TRAP!!
My3 was worried UNP and JO secretly working to OUST HIM. So he planned a PIT UNP against JO. IF JO succeeds in getting rid of RUN-NIL, My3 will appoint MR as PM. My3 tried to get rid of RUN-NIL but the 19 amendment stopped it.
IF MR thinks My3 will seriously make MR the PM, he is dreaming. After removing RUN-NIL, My3 will appoint his man as PM. He will use UNP’s anger for the JO to GRILL JO MPs on corruption charges.
Who is the STRATEGIC MIND behind My3’s strategies???? Must be a SUPER STRATEGIST from the north!! ;)
(He is cooking another strategy in the background to COOK CHARM-PAKA and RAT-ANNA. These 2 ship jumpers have too much power. They have to be cut to size WITHOUT letting them jump into MR’s camp.)

There is a REASON for leaving out those. Can you guess??? Because My3 played a part in those things you mentioned.
MR is bringing the no confidence motion ON MY3’S INSTRUCTIONS (hoping to get the PM post). He specifically INSTRUCTED MR NOT to include these because they will eventually come to haunt Maru Sira!!
