ONE COUNTRY- ONE NATION!

Ever since Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) received her independency back from the conquerors, she continuously lacked of true patriotic leaders to look after her. Except for D.S. Senanayake, S.W.R.D.Bandaranayake and a handful of true sons and daughters of Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslims and Burgers, Mother Sri Lanka had leaders who were cowards and traitors.

Among the recent leaders, Ranasinghe Premadasa can be boldly named as a courageous. He implemented some unprecedented steps to safeguard the country from an internal uprising and to curb a menace of terrorism, but unfortunately could not control the henchmen around him who tarnished his image by abusing his power. Also the fact that he provided arms to the terrorists to fight a foreign force fell back on the countrys' disadvantage thus paying high price even today.

At the same time, one should not forget the ingenious decisions that Premadasa made to control the inflation and to increase the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of Sri Lanka during his tenure. Some pundits do not want to recognize these points, just because Premadasa did not come from a famous family or did not bear much educational credentials with him. Then the so called Father of Nation, the late D.S. studied only up to grade 8! IT IS NOT THE CREDENTIALS ONE CARRIES THAT COUNTS, BUT THE DELIVERIES HE DOES!

At present we have another president, who bears many similarities like the late Premadasa, but yet to show his own mission. At the very beginning of his presidency, he was too patience to a degree that he was politically and executively blind and deaf, when scores of brave sons and daughters of our country was taken to the bite by the worlds' most heinous and brutal terrorists who operate from Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka.

We thank All Good Guardian Deities for saving Army Commander Sarath Fonseka and our troops and May all departed heroes attain the supreme happiness, Nibbana!

Now it is time for all to think and act for a united Sri Lanka. When Singapore said in late sixties that their dream is to be a country like Ceylon, the concurrent leader of India conspired with some Sri Lankan Tamils to create the terrorism in Sri Lanka. Indira Gandhi was successful in her vicious and destructive ambition to disrupt the progress of Sri Lanka to a certain degree, but Sri Lanka shall prevail. In a known and written history of more than 2550 years and for thousands of years beyond that, Sri Lanka never ever interfered into any other countrys' business unless otherwise she was dragged into such a situation by another country. (If King Ravanas' relative sister was not molested by Lakshmana, he wouldn't have kidnapped Seetha at all).

Yesterday is in the history and today we need to solve our current problem. When we have the self strength and capability, why we do not act is the question. It is true that we have to face the international pressure, but we already have it.

If the international community is not capable of bringing a straight and forward solution to our internal problem, by still dancing to others tunes and melodies, we sell our country to them. Previous president Chandrika not only sold the country to a great extent but also robbed a good deal out of it. Kofi Annan, the biggest joker who holds that important position in the UN is not only a mouth piece for the Sri Lankan terrorists, but a puppet who appoints persons for prestigious posts in the UN as if he pays from his pocket. Currently he is the worlds' funniest person as a British news article reports.
Come all Sri Lankans; let's build the country Sri Lanka together. Let's have some patience and courage and show the strength of the unity.

Without any discrimination whatsoever, we shall win! Let all religions and races in Sri Lanka be under the umbrella of Sri Lanka and then we can lead the world.

Fortunately super-super power country like USA and few other countries are with Sri Lanka from the day one and we all shall say Thank you, USA and those countries! Still we need your support to eradicate this nonsense of terrorism from Sri Lanka, which even the September 11 terrorists were trained by. The sooner we eradicate the terrorism for Sri Lanka, the better the world will be!
The innocent Tamils and others, who blindly support these baseless and heinous terrorists, should join hand in hand with the peace loving world community. Even the terrorist leaders shall be given amnesty!
