WIPE OUT THE TERRORISTS FROM
THE TRINCOMALEE DISTRICT WITHOUT SHOWING ANY MERCY.

Steps taken by the Government and the Sri Lankan security forces to
rightly punish the tiger terrorists who denied water to 15,000 innocent
inhabitants, mostly Tamil farmers and to block harvesting of 30,000
acres of paddy land are highly laudable acts that should be admired,
supported and encouraged by any and everyone who has any human feelings.
All encouragement and support should be extended to the gallant Sri
Lankan forces to completely wipe out the inhuman terrorist brutes from
the Seruwila, Muttur and Trincomalee areas. In the face of this imbroglio,
the terrorist outfit has launched a massive despicable propaganda campaign
through its websites and newspapers worldwide to accuse and arraign
Sri Lanka despite the fact that the terrorists themselves claimed at
the very beginning that the Mawilaru anicut was closed in protest against
the EU Ban. LTTE’s Sinhala Pacha Master Jehan Perera has taken
a lead role in this campaign to whitewash the terrorist atrocities and
attempt to internationalize the issue.
Writing in the Daily Mirror which provides a forum to LTTE propagandists
and treacherous Sinhala Peace Merchant dollar crows to carry out misinformation
on behalf of the terrorist outfit and the anti-national vested interests,
devious Jehan Perera blames the government for using the anicut closure
incident to bombard LTTE-held areas elsewhere, including an LTTE airstrip
in the neighbouring district of Mullaitivu. He laments that one of the
bombing operations had hit a major LTTE base inflicting a large number
of casualties, believed to be in the region of about 50, and also injuring
a top level commander. He accuses that government had acquired new weaponry
and exhibits a greater willingness to countenance a return to full scale
war. He also accuses that the security forces are seeing the issue as
part of an LTTE strategy to evict Sinhalese civilians from the east.
This Sinhala terrorist proxy claims that Ranil Wickremasinghe government
promised to build a water scheme in the area what he says the “neighbouring
LTTE-controlled area” and blames the government for not fulfilling
this promise. He also argues that the government should not block the
flow of cement, steel and other building materials into the areas that
they control. He warns that the LTTE will not take its military reversals
lightly, but will seek to level the score, if not surpass it.
In a despicable attempt to open a window for his paymaster Norway to
fish in the troubled waters, he brings in Buddhist history relating
to the Rohini river water dispute which led to a battle between two
armies for sharing the water, and finally Lord Buddha had to counsel
and bring the dispute to an end. Citing this example he advocates solving
the Marvilaru dispute by foreign intervention, implying that his paymaster
Norway should intervene. Presumably as a result of this appeal, pro-LTTE
sources disclose that Eric Solheim will be arriving in Sri Lanka to
what they call “mediate” in the current dispute.
In the recent past this terrorist surrogate Solheim had arrived in Sri
Lanka when the terrorists faced a setback and forced the past rulers
to concede to terrorist demands. CFA, P-TOMS, and forcibly aborted ISGA
are such examples. The government should not give in to any of his manoeuvres
in the present crisis.
Latest reports from the disputed area indicate the terrorist outfit
had indiscriminately fired at the refugees housed at the Muttur Arabic
School and three other schools in the area killing more than 17 civilians
including women and children and injuring several others.
Earlier reports said that they also attacked Muttur hospital injuring
hospitalised civilians and disabling injured people seeking
treatment. Also there were reports that they broke into Banks in
Muttur and looted currency and jewelry held in these banks.
The Government and the security forces have the fullest and firm backing
of all patriotic masses in its present lawful admirable military endeavour
which is in accordance with the mandate given by the people in both
the Parliamentary and Presidential elections to put an end to the terrorist
appeasement and establish “Honourable Peace”.
In the row vernacular of the rural masses who formed the majority who
voted for the government in these two elections, “Honourable Peace”
is anathema to all and every form of appeasement of the enemy and it
should be attained with dignity and graciousness even under the most
adverse circumstances.
Occupation and control of Mawilaru anicut area which has given rise
to the current dispute became capable only because of the loathsome
Norwegian doctored CFA underwhich the Ranil Wickremasinghe administration
unconstitutionally handed over a vast trek of our sovereign land on
a platter to the terrorist outfit and denied entry even to the legitimate
security forces to these areas.
Control of water resources is also an objective of the despicable ISGA
proposal which Ranil Wickremasinghe administration was willing to grant
but prevented by the timely uprising of the patriotic masses in November
2003. Under Article 20 of the ISGA proposal the terrorist outfit claims
that it shall have control of water flawing through its territory to
upper reparian and lower reparian land areas. If Ranil Wickremasinghe
administration, unfortunately granted the ISGA as it was willing to
do so, our security forces would have no authority to interfere as it
is being done today.
Simultaneously with the denial of water to innocent inhabitants, the
terrorist outfit has intensified its barrage of despicable misinformation
and racist campaign through its Websites and print organs. Material
published in these organs is horrendous and totally misleading. Utterly
derogatory language is used to depict our valiant soldiers as “Sinhala
Occupation Forces” and “Sinhala Thugs”. Also the websites
publish Video clips showing outdated incidents as the ones relating
to the current impasse, in an apparent bid to mislead outside world,
particularly the Sri Lankan Tamil diaspora and Tamil communities from
other countries.
These Websites in Tamil and English are making a frantic effort to accuse
the government for its own murders such as murder of over 17 refugees
housed in Muttur schools, shooting of inmates at Muttur hospital and
looting of Muttur Banks. All these atrocities are deliberately and erroneously
depicted as consequential to air raids.
The government should make extensive arrangements to counter this misinformation
campaign and provide accurate information to everyone.
The national dailies and patriotic websites too assist the nation in
this mammoth task.
As world respected Chinese leader Chairman Mao Tse Tung had said that
“War can only be abolished through War”, terrorists in Sri
Lanka who are waging a war on baseless grounds, who have no intention
at all to budge in for any concessions, who have not changed any of
their basic demands from its very first day, and who remain firmly determined
to segregate this nation by hook or by crook should be overpowered and
annihilated mercilessly if Sri Lanka is ever to become a peaceful nation
where all communities could live amicably as members of one family.
