Our Good wishes to the Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka and his gallant worriers of the Sri Lanka Defence Forces.

The army had been kept in barrack behind the shroud of a pot holed CFA, giving a free hand for the LTTE terrorists to employ their, pistol gang, grenade lobbers, snipers, and suicide bombs against who they want, when they want, where ever they want. That was because of the gifts, Ranil Wickramasingha gave the terrorists in return for loading ballot boxes with votes in his favour to enable him to become the President. Every thing seems to have back fired.

Ranil Wickramasinghe is licking his wounds, the pistol gangs and grenade lobbers have gone out of employment. Though the claymore bomb blasters and one or two suicide bombs seem to have taken to road. They may all go out of employment like the rest. Thamil Selvam has retired,….. or, probably taking a rest until the army fireworks end.

The myth of a terrorist army, full of fire power, heavy arms, parading passing out troops with fanfare, the civilians trained in warfare, a proud black tiger platoon marching under the terrorist flag, with sophisticated communication material brought duty free by Norwegians, cleared and transported to Wanni, under the documents signed by Bradman Weerakoone, turned out to be an empty boast.

The army can to-day ,despite the great loss of valiant fighters who have given their life to save the motherland, can go with their heads up, proud in their victory. They showed that the only way to stop the LTTE terrorist is, not to give them free helicopter rides, paid trips to Oslo, Germany, Thailand and Japan, sit round conference tables and talk any thing but peace, but a good dose of well placed bombs to make them turn their backs and run. They are now sending S.O.Ss to Norway to please come and help as they have run out of their food rations.

However, the latest report in the terrorists’ website says, that an unidentified airplane has bombed the Palaly military base. Irasaiah Ilanthirayan, the military spokesman of the terrorists had commented on the reports of aerial attack on Palaly military base, and said “We will use our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines in an all out defensive measure to protect our people and homeland”

We wish our army all the best, courage and strength to fight the terrorists and wipe them out of our beloved land-the land of the Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim, Malays and others, forming the proud Sri Lanka Nation.
