ENCOURAGE EXODUS TO PREVENT USING INNOCENT MASSES AS HUMAN SHIELDS

Human life has become the most viable and profitable commodity for the terrorists the world over. Since our glorious nation became subjected to the atrocities of the Tiger terrorists raised, trained, armed and strengthened under the hegemonic and expansionist Indian policy, the sufferings endured by our masses is unparalleled in the history of the world. The terrorist gang, in their crude ambition for luxurious and fascist existence has turned the very Tamil community that mistakenly embraced them as their saviours into a miserable human lot confronting death and devastation from every corner. Failure to get the 2 Million rupees per day extortion generating Kappan Highway opened through the spurious Geneva peace parley despite concerted attempts and threats was a setback the terrorist gang could not devour under any circumstances. Blockade of food shipments to innocent Tamils in Jaffna, attempts to destroy vessels that ferry Tamils to Jaffna and using displaced Eastern Tamils (considered as an inferior lot) as human shields are the novel maneuvers being deployed by the terrorist gang to malign the government and force open the Kappan highway.

The unfortunate deaths suffered by innocent Eastern Tamils who were garrisoned under the jackboots of the Wanni Tigers in the Vakarai area had raised much concern from many quarters. Using innocent human beings as human shields in confrontations is an act that should deserve unrelenting condemnation from everyone. The only crime committed by the innocent Eastern Tamild who became victimized at Vakarai was the fate of being trapped in an area under the illegal occupation of the tiger terrorists.

Kotidasas, Kotimenikes, and Kotisadeeks in Colombo who eagerly parrot Koti dictums, the myopic religio-racists misusing the religious garb and their office of dignity to help inhuman terrorists, RAW agents attempting to teach good governance and politics to Sri Lankans using pro-LTTE media thinking that we Sri Lakans are politically ignorant and dumbs like majority Indians and the chauvinist Tamil Nadu politicos who hold the illusory dream of getting the springboard for the greater Tamil Rajyam established in Sri Lanka, and that too before the demise of the octogenarian grand racist holding power there, must have the decency of looking into the facts before raising their accusing finger against the Sri Lankan government and our valiant admirable security forces that strive under relentless terrorization and intimidation to protect the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Sri Lanka.

This is a deliberate distortion of facts by these terrorist apologists and a willful repetition of harm and mischief they attempted to volley on the government and the security forces of Sri Lanka, on the incident relating to the aerial bombing of the Sencholai jungle training camp where the terrorists had been conducting military training to forcefully abducted Tamil girls. For political expediency, Tamil Nadu chauvinists still distort this incident as inhuman murder of school children, despite it had been well authenticated and documented by foreign experts and statements made by injured victims that it was a jungle military training camp for girls.

In the initial reports the terrorists attempted to project the Vakarai incident too as an attack on a “Children’s Home” and murder of children, in addition to the IDP camp at Kathiraveli Vikneswara Vidyalayam. However, a careful observation at the terrorist media reports clearly indicates that the Vakarai provocation was a deliberate attempt well planned by the terrorists to implicate the government. The week started with one of the Terrorists’ Numbskull Agent (TNA) MPs, Mr. P.Ariyanenthiran of Batticaloa District accusing the government for failing to provide adequate food supplies to 43,000 displaced people in the area. He accused that the government was providing only 16,000 metric tons of food whereas 36,000 metric tons per month were required . The following day, the military spokesman of the terrorists Irasiah Ilanthirayan accused the government of launching artillery attacks from Valaichenai and Karadikulam camps towards Vaharai and troop deployment at Gajuwatte camp. He also accused that Sri Lanka Air Force carried out 2 sorties of aerial bombardment in Paalchenai and Vammivedduvan in Vaharai region. Based on the dark history of the terrorists and the scant respect being shown by the terrorists to the Eastern Province Tamils, considering them as an inferior and low caste lot, it is obvious without a shadow of doubt that the terrorists have deliberately used these innocent Eastern Province Tamils as human shields and was totally responsible for their untimely deaths. This factor has also been confirmed by statements made by the survivors who have now fled to government controlled areas. Speaking to the Reuters News Agency, they have stated that the terrorists fired the first shots from the camp premises which resulted in return fire from the security forces. The mass exodus of Eastern Province Tamils from the terrorist occupied regions now underway also confirms the insecurity they have in areas under the occupation of terrorists.

Failure of the terrorists to give adequate protection to the Eastern Province Tamils trapped in areas under terrorist occupation and using them as human shields, and attempting to destroy the vessels ferrying Tamils and food supplies to Jaffna even in the midst of Vakarai incident, and the despicable attempts made by the biased Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission to favour the terrorists and the rogue Eric Selvan to question the government about the vakarai incident should be condemned vehemently by all peace loving masses.

This is not the first time the tiger terrorists have indiscriminately and inhumanly murdered innocent masses to achieve their terrorist objectives. How can the world expect a gang who had grossly murdered their own mentors for the sole reason of them belonging to a high caste, who had totally eliminated all other groups that took up arms with identical objectives, and who had brutally murdered other communities living in the region, to show mercy to a community that they consider inferior and low caste.

It is the government that feed, nurse, employ and provide all other facilities and requirements for the people entrapped in the areas under the occupation of the terrorists. Since it is possible that the terrorist would continue to use the innocent masses, particularly the Eastern Province Tamils as human shields in future confrontations or provocations, the government should seriously consider urging and encouraging exodus of the masses in the non-liberated areas, provide them temporary shelter in government controlled areas and halt all forms of supplies to occupied areas that could benefit the terrorists.

At the same time the government should also make every effort to effectively contain the despicable misinformation about the status of Sri Lankan Tamils and enormous anti-Sri Lankan propaganda being generated by the Tamil chauvinist politicos in Tamil Nadu with the objective of instigating the Indian government to confront Sri Lanka in order to get the springboard of Tamil Rajyam established in Sri Lanka.
