The CFA was farce from the start....it required both parties to cease all hostilities. However the LTTE had violated the ceasefire in its 4 and a half year span, a recorded total of more than 4000 times! The defense forces only violated it less than a recorded total of 300 times....the majority of which were situations where military personnel had retaliated at enemy fire!

In the past 9 months more than 450 brave soldiers, sailors, policemen, and airmen, paid the ultimate price when they were gunned down or ambushed by LTTE pistol gangs, snipers, suicide bombers, and claymore mines. In addition to that another 400 civilians were also slaughtered, the bloodiest of these massacres was when a bus load of 67 people....the majority of whom were young children were blown to pieces. Why? Why was the LTTE attacking our forces and civilians without any provocation? Wasn't this supposed to be a ceasefire? What did little children going to school ever do to Mr. Prahabakaran? President Mahinda Rajapakse had said again and again to the Tigers not to take his "patience for a weakness." Now our president has had it.....he has finally intervened to save Sri Lanka from falling into chaos when the LTTE cut a water supply to more than 15,000 sinhalese, tamil, and muslim civilans! And the tigers claim they are a humanitarian organization....what a joke!!!

Now our brave soldiers will not die in vain anymore! They will now at least die fighting for their country! The cowards wanted a war...now they got one! Their being blasted from all sides....they lost hundreds of fighters in the past weeks and at least 3 of their key commanders in the East!! It will now only be a matter of time until they are all killed!!!
