LTTE siege on FDL's repulsed - Kayts

A fresh LTTE attempt to destabilize the Forward Defence Lines in Allaippiddi - Kayts, was repulsed by the SL security forces on Sunday the 13th of August at 02:30 a.m.

The LTTE siege was routed through combined land and air strikes of the SL security forces.

No casualties to own forces were reported.

Further Military sources said that search and clearing operations were in progress.
