No One could have said it better, Well done! This Jerald Owens from Iowa, USAThank Mr. Mahindapala, no one could have analyzed and expressed it better. What great news and a what a glorious week for the Paradise Island. It is known the world over that LTTE is a terrorist organization. Calling themselves the representatives of the Tamil people of Sri Lanka, calling the North and East of Sri Lanka 'The Tamil Nation' among many other names, using the Norwegians, the likes of the UNP, Ranil and CBK as well as those agents of LTTE living overseas and their influence, to gain a degree of legitimacy in their ill-gotten and ill-occupied land, the time has come to draw the curtain for this band of murdering terrorists. The GoSL should not stop at Sampur, Muhamalai or Elephant Pass. At the initial phase the target should be Kilinochchi. WOW! That would be a real victory. The Sri Lankan armed forces should use every force available and keep advancing south while at the same time moving north to Kilinochchi from Trincomalee. The LTTE will not stop shelling and fighting - thus giving enough reason for the SL forces to advance forward (to prevent further attacks). Norway will scream. Of course being the Godfather for the LTTE they are supposed to. So would the LTTE. Who cares! Just like in the past, their plan of action is simple. They would ask Norway to intervene to demand a ceasefire from the GoSL (LTTE is used to living in a dreamworld and having the upper hand they will demand a ceasefire as if that too is their god given right. They are blinded by their own rhetoric - a monkey praise monkey tail scenario). GoSL has been burnt many times by false ceasefires called for by the LTTE in the past. The EU, the US, Canada, Australia (for a start) all expect the GoSL to do the world a favour. Crush these parasites. We, the rest of the world will look for other things to do. What about the UN? They will look after the displaced. They are good at that. Fat Prabha should not be harmed. He should be made to stand trial for all the murders he committed starting from Alfred Duraiappa. It will not be long before the Tamil Sri Lankans in Colombo and in other parts of the Paradise Island, most of whom up till now have been only silent spectators, will be joining the band wagon - openly calling for Fat Prabha's head. Word of Advice. Keep the UNP out of the present government. The President is doing a great job as far as the LTTE situation is concerned. UNP lost it and if the present course of action with the astute and clever leadership of the President continues without giving in to possible pressure from Solheim, it will be a very, very long time before UNP or any other political party can pose a serious challenge to the SLFP. UNP knows it and Slippery Peiris (the jumper) knows it too. Once again thank you Mr. Mahindapala. Jerald Owens, Iowa, USA |
