The Inspector General of Police.
Dear Sir,
We, law abiding citizens representing National Movement against Terrorism,
do hereby place this entry in your head quarters station, which would
enable you to arrest a person about 50 years of age, middle complexion
mail, name Velaydam Dayanidi alias Daya Master, presently taking cover
in Apollo Hospital, Elvitigala Mawatha, Narahenpita, Colombo 5.
Our request for the arrest is firmly based on the following criteria.
1. According to judiciary system in Sri Lanka and in the entire world,
purposely withholding information which could lead to arrest of a confirmed
criminal is a punishable offense. LTTE leader is sentenced for 200 years
of rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, who is still
at large. Daya Master, being a senior leader and designated as spokesperson
cum media coordinator of LTTE could provide vital evidence as to where
this most wanted criminal is hiding.
2. Attempt on the life of Army Commander, assassination of Deputy Chief
of Staff of Army Maj.Gen. Parami Kulathunga, recent massacres of Gomarankadawala
which claimed 08 innocent civilians, Welikanda massacre which claimed
12 more civilians, Kebilithigollewa massacre which had claimed 68 innocent
civilians including a Buddhist monk & toddlers were apparently the
works of LTTE. Also their illegal organization is continuing the forcible
abduction of police officer Samudrajeewa. Daya Master was detailed by
his leader to justify these killings & abduction which he did willingly.
3. Military Intelligence is soliciting public support for locating
08 bomb laden suicide motor bikes inducted to Colombo city by LTTE.
Insider information possessed by Daya Master would certainly help in
finding these motor bikes.
4. LTTE is presently banned in all EU countries, India, US & Canada.
Our friendly treaties with these countries would be fully endorsed if
we help them to arrest the criminal leader.
5. Daya Master may be sick at present, however, sickness is not a reason
to set free a criminal from all offences. We are sure that the Police
Department, under your command would not create precedence.
We learnt that the Mission of Sri Lanka Police is "committed and
confident to uphold and enforce the law of the land, to preserve the
public order, prevent crime and terrorism with prejudice to none-equity
to all"
Being the head of the entire Police Department, we are very confident
that you would make use of this information to prove that you are fully
committed for this Mission which would even set an example for the thousands
of others in the entire Police Department.
Therefore, kindly take necessary steps as soon as possible to arrest
this person and bring him to justice, the justice you are imposing on
all citizens in Sri Lanka irrespective of caste & creed.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
(signed)
