Secure Colombo, keep pressure on Tigers and plan for the future

It’s one thing hitting the tigers hard and it’s another thing securing Colombo. The tigers would have planned a devastating bomb attack years ago, if for any reason, they show losing control over their territory. Intelligence should be dramatically increased to keep Colombo safe, as the tigers are desperate now and one bomb attack in the capital will demoralize everyone and turn the tide to pressure the government to negotiate with terrorists.

It’s a well known fact that even inside the Army head quarters they are Sinhala traitors and the Government should make every endeavour to create an organization along the lines RAW, CIA in Sri Lanka to counter any threat to the nation. Those who get caught in clandestine operations should be exposed in the media and should be dealt with severely so that others will be discouraged. Even the Temple Tree may be infested with few spies and the government should be vigilant so that any attempt to de-stabilise the government can be avoided.

While the armed forces have gained grounds on many fronts, the pressure on Tigers should be kept alive and there shouldn’t be any room for complacency. Also, the armed forces, especially the air force should continue relentlessly to destroy the LTTE infra structure and gain ground illegally encroached and controlled by LTTE, with the help of their Norwegian friends. In desperation, LTTE will cry foul and seek the sympathy of Westerners and Indians and Norwegians, their allies, who would do their very best to restore the status quo, under the CFA and what not. Most consent to the idea of removing Norwegians from the mediating role but the wisest thing to do is to keep them in their role and begin ignoring them and leaning over India or some other country who would be prepared to take a stand or initiate a dialogue directly, with all Tamil parties including Tigers.

British or Americans find commonality with Norwegians as they are Westerners and whatever Norwegians convey to Westerners is the gospel truth irrespective of their ability to obtain first hand information on the ground situation from their respective Embassies and High Commissions. Besides Norwegians work for CIA and CIA is an organization which has no conscience and will see that Anglo Saxon domination of this world is maintained at any cost, (under the pretext of fighting for democracy and freedom!) even if they feel siding with Tigers, although US has branded them as a terrorist organization.

Boat loads of so called refugees heading towards India should be intercepted and settled in the South as it’s a fact the majority of Tamils live among Sinhalese and Muslims. This will neutralise any concerns India has over any refugee influx. The government should have an affective plan to settle them among Tamil families in the South or on a government sponsored settlement plan, anywhere in Sri Lanka.

Prabah’s options seem to be running out and drying out, and he should realize that there will be thousands of Tamils, whose relatives were eliminated by him, who would love to hold his scalp or the Sri Lanka armed forces would love to see him vapourised.

He would end up committing suicide as he will never be able to lead a free life, even if the ethnic problem is solved. Popular for all the wrong reasons with too many people after his head, he must be now thinking what a mess he is in. The day he is eliminated the government should impose an all island curfew immediately so that his ardent followers will have no room to create havoc in the south.

We have reached a crucial point in our history and any unwise move by authorities would be devastating culturally, socially and politically. Everyone is praying for an honourable solution to the ethnic problem.

The sari clad Ranil has made over tones to proclaim that UNP ( basically a party full of corrupt Muslims and Sinhalese) will rule in few months and it’s vital that Mahinda should force him to withdraw these statement before any party merger, the ‘party curse’ of the British which divided our country politically to bring so much misery to our motherland.

Any form of solution be it Federal or not, would be wise on the lines where we would eventually have a Tamil Premier/Chief Minister in the North, a Muslim Premier in the East and a Sinhalese Premier in the South, maintaining and governing the 3 States, with the current administration at district level. Provincial Governments must be dissolved as this tier of administration will be redundant.

A Central Government should be formed along the present lines, to oversee the affairs of the whole country, including security, customs etc. and the members of parliament should elect the Prime Minister or the President to lead the country, be it of any ethnicity as with the case of India where they had Muslims and Sikhs as Prime Ministers and Presidents. I wonder whether this would be an honourable solution to all.
