Keheliya Rambukwella: You are Playing with LTTE Claymores! Step Down and Do Not Humiliate Nation's Brave Fighting Men!

This is simply a mind-numbing experience, the never ending saga of ridiculous actions and statements that we see raining down today from President MR and his, now proven, weak government.

Hard as it is to believe, Keheliya Rambukwella has said the following:

Don`t mix up Daya Master`s case with the killing of 12 soldiers says govt.

1) Defence Spokesperson Keheliya Rambukwella on Friday said that people should not mix up the government providing humanitarian assistance to LTTE Media Coordinator Daya Master and the killing of 12 soldiers by the LTTE in Vakeneri, in Batticaloa on Friday.

2) Minister Rambukwella told The Sunday Leader that while Daya Master was transported to Colombo on humanitarian grounds, the government would not let the Vakeneri attack affect their decision to provide future humanitarian assistance to the Tigers.

3) We are a democratically elected government, not a terrorist organisation like the LTTE. Daya Master was transported to Colombo due to requests made by his family members,` Minister Rambukwella said.

4) He added while the Vakeneri attack had created fresh rumours of an ethnic conflict, the government would remain dedicated to peace despite the LTTE`s continuous violation of the CFA.
5) He further said that the government, together with other political parties would now have to urge the LTTE into bringing a peaceful settlement in the country.

Here are my open responses to you, noted as well in point form:

1) 2) & 3) Has Manmohan Singh agreed to treat sick/wounded Kashmirie terrorists, who are today killing Indian security forces in Kashmir and slaughtering innocent Indian civilians in Mumbai, in the best hospitals in Mumbai or New Delhi? Has Vladimir Putin agreed to treat the leaders of Chechen terrorists, who massacred children in Beslan and continue to kill Russian troops, in the best hospitals in Moscow? Has George Bush/Tony Blair agreed to treat Bin Laden or his Al-Queda co-leaders, who have slaughtered civilians in New York and London and continue to kill American and British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, in the best hospitals in New York or London? The answer is a resounding NO!

You speak of your "democratically elected government" but so are these foreign governments today running under democratic and democratically elected principles. The difference is their leaders have had the wisdom to clearly differentiate between "humanitarian" gestures and sheer suicidal-idiocy that contributes to perpetuate the killing of their citizenry and defense personnel, while destroying their economies in the process.

Your inept, illogical reasoning is obviously not along the same lines as these leaders and it is an absolute crying shame for the Nation!

4) Please understand at least now that this is not an "ethnic conflict" anymore. I am astounded that you would use that term. It is evident to all that what we have is a terrorist problem, not unlike India's terrorist problem. It is a fact that LTTE has killed more SL Tamils than any other entity, so how could this be an "ethnic conflict?" This was a phrase that was coined during the 1983 riots and today it is used only by the "green" western reporters and LTTE biased NGOs. Does not your brain have enough intellect to realize that LTTE is a horrific terrorist organization that wants a monolithic, racist, sovereign separate state, run by a fascist dictator for life and that there is no accommodating in this envisioned entity for other Tamils, especially moderate Tamils with democratic opinion and aspiration? Do you not see that this is not unlike what Pol Pot unsuccessfully formed in Cambodia?

5) "Bringing a peaceful settlement" is something you and your leader keeps repeating like you are on opium. You utter this mantra while brave SLDF personnel are being slaughtered by the LTTE. You do this when LTTE kills Sinhela women and children by the busloads. No concerted actions are taken to neutralize this horrific terrorism. See how bankrupt you and your leader have now become? Evidently, you have no other strategy other than hoping that the rainwater will make the tiger shed its spots! Your stupefied mindset cannot, even at this late stage of after 25 years, fathom that the only "peaceful settlement" that the LTTE will agree to is a monolithic, racist, sovereign separate state, run by a fascist dictator for life. LTTE has made clear that its demand is for total sovereignty over land, sea, and air. If your government is not willing to give this to the LTTE and depend only on a mythical "peaceful settlement" without concerted military action to defeat terrorism first, then I say to you - dream on until either we masses kick you out at the next election or until the LTTE claymores get you sooner!

It is quite possible that the discovery of the claymores near your residence has sent you into a dizzying tailspin of fear. After all, towards the latter stages of CBK's tenure, this was a rabid morbidity within her and many believe that is why she agreed to the National-suicidal P-TOMS with the LTTE.

If such is the case, I think you should immediately step down from your position and not use it to cozy up to the LTTE at the expense of the lives of our brave fighting men in SLDF - who are today facing mortars, claymores, T-56 bullets and grenades from the LTTE while continuing to valiantly stand up and safeguard the Nation. Your type of Ka-Ka utterances (by politicians) go a long way to demoralize them and frankly, each of their lives is worth a tens-of-thousands of yours.
