As it has always been the thinking of the Progressive Leaders of our
land,the Terrorist problem in Sri lanka is not Ethinic at all,but Political.
When we look into the past,whenever their is a Socialist motivated Regime
comes to power in SL,the terrorists raise thier ugly head. In 1958 with
the BANDA-CHELVA Pact signed,YANKEE DICKIE JR came out of hiding in
the name of Nationalism,to save the Reactionary Capitalists who were
suffering under the Socilist policies of Late Hon.S.W.R.D.Bandaranaike.How
ever much advised by Phillip,NM.Dr.Wickremasinge,as SWRD did not stand
firm he faced an untimely death in the hands of the reactionary forces.
The famous Cabinet strike led by W.Dahanayake,Stanley de Zoysa,Wimala
Wijewardena to expel Phillip and P.H.William Silva,the two Socialist
Ministers in the Cabinet.The the bringing down the coalition Govts in
1964 and 1974,which paved way for JR to become a Dictator within the
framework of Democracy.
Whe we look into this Political issue in another angle,if Hon.R.premadasa
was not assasinated by these Barbarians he would have been President
for the 2nd term,which would have further delayed the dream of Ranil
to become UNP leader.
When Hon.D.B.Wijetunge called for a General Election the results showed
a lack of few seats for Late Gamini Dissanaike to become PM.The President
DB summoned late AHM Ashroff seeking his support to form the Govt,when
Mr.Ashroff arrived at the Ratmalana domestic airport from Amparai,it
is an open secret that Ranil advised him to support Madam Chandrika
to form the Govt,preventing Gamini becomming PM.
Then came the assasination of Presidential candidate Gamini Dissanayake
when he was on the verge of Victory.Let us think for a while who would
have won the Presidential Elections if the attempted assasination on
Madam Chandrika succeeded.
As Sri Lanka is a blessed land,the Almighty God helped Mahinda to become
President inspite of the Malicious Propaganda conducted by the Reactionary
Media,under cutting of the Brother and Sister within the party,the Billions
of Rupees spent against him by the Local and Foreign Reactionary Capitalists.
As soon as he assumed office the Terrorists started their usual game
by attacking our forces.Judging by the past their is a Political Problem
,to get the answer apply Trignometry the answer is simple.
Now when the the President wants to laydown the proposals for a permanent
solution
a few in the UNP under the Leadership of RANIL,are trying to block this
by giving lame excuses.If you are a able Leader why should your Partymen
leave your Party?
Ranil you will never succeed this time,because the International Community
is waiting for Political solution.You will be Victorious in Dissolving
the UNP into an Uncle Nephew Party and pushing it into be the 3rd force.I
wish Ranil GoodLuck in this enormous effort.Whatever tactics you may
try ,the patriotics in the UNP will be with MHINDA,as thy have aPolitical
future which you do not have.
STAND FIRM MAHINDA THE COUNTRY IS WITH YOU.
