Enough is enough! At the beginning you appeared be the Man! Everybody
hoped that you are leader that long awaited for Sri Lanka and almost
all the Sri Lankans in and out of the country and all peace loving people
in the world massed around you with support and help by various means.
Now, day by day, you show how wrong everybody's assumption about you
as a true patriot. Day by day you give the way to the terrorists and
try to surrender to them.
Hon. President, are you just trying just to spend your term of six
years by strengthening the terrorists and letting them massacre our
sons and daughters of the nation? How many innocent civilians were brutally
killed during your short tenure and how many brave uniform men and women
we lost? Your predecessors competed with each other to betray Sri Lanka
and your actions show that you are going to be the worst!
President Rajapaksha, if you listen and help the terrorists like this,
why don't you resign from the presidency and go and join them instead?
Everybody dreamed of a brave MR and it is being deceived.
Late JR initiated this current problem by not tackling the terrorism
then and there by firm and strict actions. Like in the saying that "when
something could have easily removed by the nail and when it is not done
so, it is difficult to remove it later even by the axe". The terrorists
have well established now throughout the country in the name of ceasefire
and virtually run the country the way they want.
First of all, stop using name of this terrorist's organization. By
using their organization's name, you give them some undeserved recognition
and make them unnecessarily bigger. That helped the terrorists a lot
to become popular and subsequently spreading in all around the world.
That is just another brutal and vicious terrorist organization and Sri
Lankan forces can easily handle it. They were not even close by number
to the number of insurgents who tried to topple the Sri Lankan government
in 1971 in the beginning, and since JR did not handle the way correctly
in 1983, whole Sri Lanka suffers even today, 23 years later.
President Rajapaksha, Sri Lanka is an independent country and we have
more than enough brains to solve our own problem. The literacy rate
of Sri Lanka is among the highest in South East Asia. We do not need
absolutely any outside advisers to solve a problem inside our country
and don't you know that 99% of those foreigners are either work for
the terrorists for their political reasons or they are being bought
by the terrorists?
Today Israel is waging an all out war to rescue one Israel soldier
who was kidnapped! Even though we should not go to that extreme, we
at least should protect the country from the menace of terrorism.
The present Sri Lankan government is treating terrorists like VIPs
and being a terrorist in Sri Lanka appears to be an honour! What happened
to the law and order if this country?
If the current president cannot function under the pressure, he better
resign and go home for good before Sri Lanka falls into the terrorists'
hands. Little by little President MR shows how weak he is to govern
a country. If the president is unable to regain the government control
of whole Sri Lanka, what is the use anymore? Since majority Sri Lankans
including Tamils want peace and unity, being the president, he should
take all necessary steps to deliver that by safeguarding the sovereignty
of Sri Lanka.
Before it is too late, the President should implement bold and wise
actions to safeguard Sri Lanka from the terrorist and lead the country
with dignity and pride. The former presidents sold the country to the
terrorists and Sri Lankans pay for it today.
If the current President is incompetent and incapable to correct the
course and bring back the pride to Sri Lanka, PLEASE RESIGN AND GO
HOME AND LET THE MILITARY RULE THE COUNTRY FOR AWHILE!
