Should SL Army stop the air raidsThis is Jerald Owens from Iowa, USA
Oh! By the way, what kind of First Aid training are the Vanni Butchers giving 15 to 18 year old tiger girls. From what I know of the Paradise Island the tamil girls are the most conservative and do not venture out without chaperones. 61 young girls without chaperones spending two days and nights by themselves in a war torn jungle, what were these poor children doing? Were they really getting a two-day crash course in first aid? What is so complicated with basic first aid that it takes two days to learn? News item also says, Civilians in the locality have seen LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabakaran frequenting the orphanage with the view to create anti-Sri Lankan mindsets to the occupants of the orphanage. The BIG KAHUNA himself visits this First Aid Training Center frequented by young girls. Is this how the Butcher from Vanni spends his time while hiding from everyone else? Do Terrorists Have Hearts, Minds and Religious beliefs? No they do not. But they do have a thirst for blood, the greed to achieve power and the sadistic and psychopathic pleasure to destroy the innocent. How do they destroy the innocent? Capture them when they are young and brainwash them from an early age. Recent history has shown us - Pol Pot in Khmer Rouge, Charles Taylor in Liberia, Wijeweera in Sri Lanka, Foday Sesay in Sierra Leone, Talaban and a whole bunch of other blood thirty lunatics with their madarasas that brain wash young kids to achieve this goal. Unlike grown ups who ask unnecessary questions like what's in it for them, what will my family do if I die, when can I go home to my family, kids do not have grown up problems. Brainwash them; give them a gun and point in the right direction. Most of them are are induced to take drugs and sex is in abundance, things that normal kids going to schools do not easily get. There is no way to rehabilitate them either. Did the tigers kill their own to earn the sympathy of the EU and of the rest of the world? It will not be the first time. The tigers are pretty desperate right now after losing battle after battle. Two more confrontations and you'll see the cracks before the whole mighty army, the formidable navy and the never tested tiger air force disintegrates. As far as the young killers once their handlers (that's the right word, just like dog handlers who handle police dogs, the young baby soldiers too have role models or team leaders who are their handlers) are killed they baby soldiers are no more. They just sit down and cry Mummy. With the unlimited assistance from the BBC, and the praising by the likes of BBC's Ethirajan Anbarasan, Dumeetha Luthra, National Peace Council and the Tamilnet, tigers have the international press base well covered. Who nurtured the LTTE Indira Gandhi - Even though she would not allow a separate state for the Sikhs, she wanted to carve out a piece of the Paradise Island and give it to these murderers to appease the 60 million Tamils in South India. In her desire to appease the Tamil voters in Tamil Nadu she caused great harm to her legacy. Her son too had to pay with his life. First the madam gets bumped off by a Sikh and then her heir apparent Rajeev gets blown up by one of Prabha's girls (Probably a first aid student). Successive Presidents and Prime Ministers of Sri Lanka. The Norwegians. Incidentally Sri Lanka needs the Norwegians right now and both the LTTE and Norway know that. Just the same way the LTTE used them it is now the GoSL who should use them. In fact they seem to have done quite well recently. The Do Gooders Club; Gehan Perera, Kumar Rupasinghe, Radhika Coomaraswamy. These do not really count any more. They support the LTTE because they are afraid for their own lives. JVP - Another bunch of power crazy fanatics whose popularity is dwindling and seem to be assuming self-importance thus making impossible demands from the President. They do not seem to know when to give up. Their days are numbered as the populace of Sri Lanka has at long last come to realize that JVP's only goal is to rule Sri Lanka some day. Dear JVP, look at North Korea and Cuba. The other ex-communist countries are no more. You cannot fool all the people all the time. And finally Ranil Wickremesinghe - a spineless, gutless man who became a leader by accident and destroyed the UNP. The biggest blunders committed by the LTTE Murdering Rajiv Ghandhi Tigers Greatest Enemies The sons and daughters of Sri Lanka who serve its armed forces under the leadership of General Fonseka. The General has turned out to be the most formidable, valuable and the most significant leader Sri Lanka's armed forces ever had. The General Fonseka President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who has continued to be firm in his commitments to declare that the Paradise Island will never be divided. The previous leaders only paid lip service and most were even afraid to mention what President Rajapaksa has told the whole world including the LTTE that Sri Lanka will never be divided. Colonel Karuna The JHU - They may sound too right wing. But they play one of the most important roles in Sri Lanka. What's Next? Should the government stop its retaliatory and defensive operations? HELL NO! The LTTE will beg for help. The days of LTTE playing the upper hand are almost over. The Norwegians, the NGOs, the BBC and the Peace Council made the LTTE legitimate and Sri Lanka continues to pay a very high price. The EU, the US and Canada are fed up with the LTTE. Sri Lanka should continue its current path. Do not stand idle when provoked and attacked. But be a step ahead of the LTTE. It is the President Rajapaksa's duty to be a just leader to all communities in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka can only survive as a federal type of governance where all its citizens are treated with respect and they can live with dignity. You are a beautiful little Paradise Sri Lanka! I recently visited Hawaii. The big Island as well as the smaller islands. The weather, the flora and the fauna all reminded me of Sri Lanka. But when it comes to natural beauty and the hospitality of the people it is nowhere near Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankans should appreciate what their country can offer. At present, at the first available opportunity most Sri Lankans want to run way to other countries. The leadership of Sri Lanka has a long hard battle to instill a sense of pride, dignity and security to its people. Once the LTTE menace is put down the rebuilding should start immediately and should involve all ethnic communities of Sri Lanka. More than anything else the leadership should ensure transparency and combat corruption so that every Sri Lankan enjoys Sri Lanka, not just a privileged few and well to do and rich foreigners like us.
