DISCIPLINARY ACTION MUST BE TAKEN AGAINST BLACKSHEEPS IN THE GOVERNMENT

A.A.M.NIZAM MATARA.

Nowhere in the world will the people tolerate a gang who oppose the action of the country’s security forces and the country’s legitimate government for taking steps to avert enemy aggression and safeguard the country’s territorial integrity. Action taken by the patriotic monks of the Jathika Sanga Sammelanaya last Thursday to confront the dollar enslaved NGO rogues who support, sheild and promote the terrorist enemy is highly laudable. It is really shame to note that the general public failed to exercise their noble responsibility in this regard and the venerable monks were forced to shoulder the virtuous task. The manner these monks had been abused and manhandled by the NGO mercenaries is highly deplorable and it should be demanded from the Police to take stern action against these NGO mercenaries without showing any impunity.

The photographs of brutal attacks on the Venerable Monks displayed in the Websites Lankaweb and SinhalaNet are horrific and unbelievable.
It is amazing to find people in Colombo remaining so naïve and allow for all kinds of political opportunists and NGO rogues to hold rallies of this nature in Colombo. If they happened to hold such a rally anywhere else other than Colombo definitely people in those areas would teach unforgettable lessons to key organizers and active participants of such rallies.

The government and the security forces are constitutionally and morally bound to defeat enemy aggressions and uphold the territorial integrity of the nation. Who are these NGO rogues in the outfit called Anti-War Front, licking the boots of the dollar paymasters, to demand the government and the security forces to halt the defensive action now being successfully carried out and being appreciated by people of all walks of life.

If these mercenaries in religious regalia and red shirts are really worried about the loss of life, and have any brain inside their remote controlled skulls, they should make their demands to the perpetrators of anarchy, their cousins Tiger terrorists and should hold their protest rallies in places beyond Vavnuniya, where even the personal freedom does not exist.

Addressing a news conference after this brutal attack the internationally condemned NGO rogue Kumar Rupasinghe had said that Buddhist monks were responsible for attack on more than 150 churches in Sri Lanka. This is a diabolical lie as there had been no such reports and it is a mean attempt to create hatred between Buddists and Christians by this so-called peace merchant who spuriously claim to stand for protecting the life of people. What this statement has to do with the aborted rally?

The Anglican Bishop of Colombo, Rt Revd Duleep de Chickera attempting to tone down the gravity of the brutalities committed by the NGO mercenaries on the reverend monks, has called for reconciliation between the venerable monks and their attackers. He has also urged the authorities to ensure holding of demonstrations and gatherings.
Quoting the Bible he says “Blessed are the peace-makers”. Is it an attempt by him to misquote the Bible to support the NGO rogues who call themselves are “peace-makers”. If the Bishop is really interested in peace he should make his initiatives with his disciples in the Wanni jungles who are responsible for this country’s misery.

The much publicised sudden appearance of the so-called Anti-War Front gang at a time the terrorists are getting beaten in all fronts confirms this is a premeditated attempt by the vested interests to save the tiger terrorists from total annihilation and a restaging of a scenario similar to the Inddian Parippu invasion. Why these NGO rogues keep silent when the terrorists have an upper hand and carry out brutal massacres against the security forces and the innocent civilians, particularly at times listed below:

- When former Foreign Minister Mr. Lakshman Kadiragamar was
assassinated by the LTTE.
- When it was attempted to assassinate the Commander of the Army
Major General Sarath Fonseka by the LTTE
- When Lt. Gen. Parami Kulatunge was assassinated by the LTTE
- When the LTTE attempted to destroy the vessel “Pearl
Cruiser”and murder 750 unarmed security personnel
- When over 70 innocent passengers, including 15 school
children, were killed by LTTE by using claymore mines in Kebbitigollawa.
- When the LTTE inhumanly closed the Mawil Aru anicut denying
drinking water for 15,000 families and irrigable water for 30,000 acres.
- When the LTTE invaded Muttur, and forced over 40,000 people to
flee to far away places such as Kanatale and Thoppur;
- When the LTTE attempted to murder Minister Keheliya
Rambukwella in Kandy
- When over 100 Muslims fleeing from Muttur were murdered by
LTTE alleging that they supplied food to the Sri Lankan security forces.
- When the LTTE increased murder of security forces and
civilians following the election of President Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse.

It is abhorrent to find that political opportunists such as Hulan Pereras, Cardboard Silvas, and some Ministers belonging to name-board political parties, who have got the priviledge of entering the Parliament due to the stupid electoral system, despite outright rejection by the constituents where they contested, have actively participated in the Thursday’s rally which in every aspect has been a rally against the government.

Dilan Perera, who is a blacksheep in the Government, is reported to have told that the anti-war front comprises groups of different ideologies. Yet they have come together because they are against the war and believed the ethnic problem can be solved only by a federal arrangement. As he was known to have worked against the President in the Presidetial election he may have campaigned for this arrangement, which Ranil Wickremasinghe promoted. This is a statement against the Government’s policy and the mandate given by the people to President Rajapakse.

The President and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party must take strong disciplinary action against these blacksheeps, who have no popular support in their own electorates and who have lost their electorates in several recent elections symbolising master loser Ranil
Wickremasinghe. They are also former Presdient Chandrika’s bell-boys
and their continuation in the government would harm the government, the SLFP and also the nation as they could even turn out to be undercover agents for Sri Lanka’s worst enemy LTTE, similar to Jayalath Jayawardene in the UNP.

Failure to take action against these blacksheeps in the government could severely damage Government’s credibility and demoralise the determination of our gallant forces.
