["Security forces cannot defeat tigers! Ranil Wickremasinghe
13th November 2006 - 00:15 S.L.T] ]
LA PEIRIS, UK
A man who was Prime Minister for a short time and signed a ceasefire
agreement that is not worth the paper it is written on. A man who
aspired to become the President, and who would have controlled the
armed forces as its Commander-in Chief. He definitely knows
how to boost the moral of armed forces personnel.
Can he explain to the Sri Lankan people why their security forces
can never defeat the tiger organization? LTTE is an organisation of
murderous suicide bombing terrorists led by a megalomaniac despot.
Brave armed forces personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice
in safeguarding their motherland, must turn in their graves. The parents,
and families of these people, living bearing the pain of their loss
must really appreciate his views and comments, without spitting on
his face.
The peace talks are a complete waste of time. Any discussions on
this internal issue should be done within the shores of Sri Lanka.
The foreign junkets, to entertain rabid terrorist monkeys at public
expense and satisfy the hidden motives of the international community
must be abolished. The international community cares two pence about
the economy and welfare of Sri Lankan people except pulling the purse
strings to make us do their bidding.
TNA Parliamentarian Nadarajah Raviraj was elected a Parliamentarian
at the bidding of the murderous despot, and was nothing but a terrorist
stooge. People do sympathise with his family but it is ridiculous
shedding crocodile tears for someone who supported and advocated terrorists
and terrorism.
Mr. Wickremasinghe, can sign all kinds of MoUs & CFAs
with anyone, but do they mean anything? The Bhikkus and people of
Sri Lanka are not blind and have seen through this coward. He may
be the Leader of the Opposition and the UNP, but is it just coincidence
that he lost 13 elections? The UNP should get rid of him as they will
never succeed as a party destined to govern, having a coward as their
leader. He and those having ideas of appeasing terrorists and terrorism
are a living disgrace to all Sri Lankans.
To stabilise the economic growth and welfare of the country, peace
is essential. However peace can only be established by eradicating
terrorists and terrorism. Sri Lanka needs brave honest leaders not
cowards and hypocrites.
