The LTTE; A Price for Hypocrisy of Indian Politics

There is a France idiom that ''the one who creates the wind will harvest the storm''. Isaac Newton, a well-known scientist in past presented this natural phenomena logically in to science saying ''every action will have opposite and equal reaction''. All sort of terrorism is condemnable and compensatory. Islamic terrorism despite of nothing for justifying its existence does an equilibrium role in the midst of hypocritical politics in the world. But, both India and west is continuing to prosper one of the terrorisms earning enough returns from other form of terrorism. One of the good examples for this truth is that USA supported Kurdish & Afghan Guerrillas to fight against Iraq and Soviet Russia respectively and they have been still experiencing enough consequences of what they have prospered. India is still to experience the dire consequences from what they have prospered in LTTE.

India - LTTE axis

A pro Tamil web has reported on 17th August 2006 that Tamil Nadu Chief minister Mr. Kalaigner M. Karunanidhi has condemned the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) bombing in Vallipunam in Mullaithivu district in Northeast Sri Lanka killing tens of youngsters and urged centre government to request Government of Sri Lanka to full stop such attacks despite of many news published in webs & news papers that the attacked camp is not a school but a suicidal training camp only. This is one of the narrow minded requests made by a leader of a state government against an unavoidable natural phenomenon ''every action will have opposite and equal reaction''.

Mr. Karunanidi's Tamil Nadu government's request to full stop retaliations is merely based on cheap political aspirations only but easily ignoring the real facts of the issue amounting to prosper the Terrorism in Sri Lanka, which will never lead to the world peace. If Mr. Karunanidhi really interests of the Tamil's peace in Sri Lanka, he should warn first to LTTE to stop this unnecessary war and find a solution within the unitary state of Sri Lanka but has he ever made such a statement? Has Mr. Karunanidhi ever condemned any killing of innocent Tamils by LTTE?

It is a well-known fact that Tamil Nadu was an active base for LTTE terrorists to be strengthening with the support of state government of Tamil Nadu under the guidance of Mr. Ramachandran and Mr. Karunanidhi who succeeded each other as the chief ministers since 1970. India itself experienced the sad episode of Former Prime minister Rajeev Gandhi killing consequent to the support offered to a dangerous Terrorist group in the World by the Tamil Nadu State Government. Milking a poisonous snake in hand has no assurance for the lives of any body and today; India seems to be re-performing the same mistake with the hope of cheap political gains.

Child Soldiers and Blind News Sources

According to the LTTE's unwritten rule, every family should let their one son or daughter to join with LTTE. LTTE has mastered the conscription of child soldiers denying their rights for education and spending their childhood with parents. It is reported that more than 5000 of child soldiers have been serving as the LTTE cadres and one third of its live strength consists of woman and children.

On 18th August 2006, pro - LTTE web released the name of 51 children died from the aerial bomb attacks as confirmed by the principals association so that world community can be further fooled to believe the reports of aerial bombing over a school. It is unfortunate that even well advanced news agencies like BBC, Reuters, AFP etc has used to publish the news abstracting from LTTE publications but pretending as their journalists were at the scene at the time of incident happen. LTTE is tactfully using these news agencies to propagate the false news of Tamils as no independent journalists are allowed to report from LTTE controlled areas.

LTTE terrorism in the unclear areas has no democracy or freedom of expression to reveal the truth behind the death of these children even though prime culprit for the loss of these innocent lives is LTTE only. If the so-called principal unions or association of parents are strong and independent enough, there won't be such inhuman child recruiting for war or suicidal missions in the terrorists held areas. Using a pregnant woman as a suicidal cadre to kill the Army Commander of Sri Lanka few weeks ago is clear evident that LTTE is not hesitate to use even an unborn child to achieve their objectives. The UNHCR and Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, The University Teachers for Human Rights - Jaffna and Sri Lanka police reports provide ample of evidence of human rights violations by the LTTE and any body who wishes to know the truth should refer them other than what LTTE publishes.

India's Policy on Terrorism

India cannot maintain double standard on its policy on terrorism where it blames for Pakistan for helping Kashmir terrorists while it supports to the Sri Lankan Tamil Tiger Terrorists. If Sri Lanka is supposed to be merely full stop the on going limited retaliating operations as suggested by India's Chief minister Karunanidi, Sri Lankan government has not been left with other option than leaving the land to Tamil terrorists and withdraw its troops to the southern part of the country. Does India apply same rule in its troublesome Kashmir war zone? Inability of India to find a political solution satisfying the Kashmir Terrorists is not an uncommon fact in the Sri Lankan conflict too and hence it is India, a giant in the region should maintain decent & balance standard on similar issues. In failure to do so, India cannot avoid being isolated in the international arena between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh & China.

There is no difference in final analysis between India's request to stop retaliation to Terrorists and LTTE's threat to the Sri Lankan Government to leave northeast to establish Tamil Ealam. Intimidation a neighbouring country using its diplomatic ties is deplorable & despicable. Every country has a sole right to protect their sovereignty and wage the war for their defence but no other country can interfere with such basic right of a state in this civilized world. If India is so sympathy of the Sri Lankan Tamils who have migrated from Tamil Nadu through 22 km sea distance from time to time in past due to economic burdens in the Tamil Nadu State, the homeland for millions of Tamils, It is now the time for India to think for allowing Mr. karunanidhi or LTTE leader Prabakaran to establish a separate Ealam in India for their economic development rather than encouraging them to capture adjacent lands.

Global Alliance Against Terrorism

The simple reason for existing of Terrorism is that the certain communities or people need it to use as a weapon for demand a privilege from a country or another civil society. Terrorism does not exist without a political support from another established community. Terrorism exists as long as the world leaders or countries play the cheap political games. If we really wish a terrorist free world, there should be a Global alliance against the Terrorism and country like Sri Lanka; India, Israel, which is suffering from terrorism, should initiate such alliance to fight against the Terrorism, which should be controlled and defeated globally.

USA led campaign against Terrorism is a totally ineffective and illusive show, which is activated effectively against the ''Bin Laden terrorism'' only and that campaign plays double standard for terrorist issues in other countries like Sri Lanka. USA led campaign against the Terrorism, which invaded two countries, Iraq and Afghan and now been invading Lebanon to crack down the Bin Laden led terrorism does not help Sri Lanka at least to find the LTTE leader Prabakaran in Vanni Jangle but continue to preach the democracy and negotiation skills to Sri Lankan government! Therefore, merely supporting to US led campaign against terrorism is not helpful for us in getting our countries free of Terrorism and it is the high time now to initiate an effective network against this global menace.

It is regretted to note that worldwide terrorist groups have already organized and joined together helping each other in their terrorism against the democracy while the democratic societies are still playing the cheap opportunistic politics! As long as the world political leaders maintain the double standard on the terrorism in different part of the world, terrorism will remain stronger as a price for the hypocrisy of these Giant Nations.
