Dear Sir,
I have wanted to do this for a long time but I had hesitated . However
after reading the latest articles from Mr Hudson McLean
and Jerald Owens, I just HAD to ask you to please convey to both of
them my utmost thanks and congratulations. I'm a Christian expatriate
Sri Lankan living in Australia and find that I whole heartedly concur
with their views, it is almost as if it is ME writing those articles!!
Such is my total empathy with their opinions. Mind you I don't always
agree with all your contributors so this is not the norm for me.
I love lankaweb and please keep up your great work and the courage to
say it AS IT IS, which is highly praiseworthy in these days of stupid
political correctness and censorship of facts and subjects that HAVE
to be effectively dealt with and communicated to the masses. I could
not believe my eyes when I read the Daily News paper over the past week
and there was hardly a mention of the President's stupid choice to allow
treatment to a damn LTTE terrorist while innocent Sri Lankans were being
slaughtered daily by the very same terrorist mob!! Their blatant double
standards are astounding to say the very least. I was taught a saying
by my late, ex Sri Lanka Police Chief Inspector father who used to say
"You must NEVER EVER lick the boots of those who kick you."
I just wish our Sri Lankan politicians were taught this by THEIR parents
and demonstrate this in their dealing with the rotten to the core LTTE
terrorists.
Anyway, thanks again and please convey this email to the two above mentioned
contributors to your website.
