If the current trend continues………..

In a few decades, Sinhalaya will speak to another Sinhalaya in English and at last will be proud of being a Sinhalaya with the embracing of the THE language English, and finally the satellite of England will come under the yoke of the British, and the Satan will be overwhelmed. Buddhist priests will be compelled to deliver dhamma talks in English as no one will understand Sinhala or ever remember a language called Sinhala.

In this hilarious situation, the Christians and Catholics will dominate every sphere of life in Sri Lanka with the English trump card and Sinhala Language and Sinhala literature will be taught as subjects in schools in English, presuming Sinhala exists at that time as a vestige language. The present day Educationalists will be honoured by all with their photos on display on walls of every school in Sri Lanka, as they would be responsible for turning the table to make the Medium of Instruction, the English language, while the Brown Anglo continues to the murder the Mad Cow’s English.

In a few centuries, the mountains will disappear in the hill country in Sri Lanka and will be henceforth known as the meadow country as happened in the ‘mother country’ (England will be known in Sri Lanka as the ‘mother country’) and all Sinhalayas (may be logically they will be referred by another name, you never know) will admire the beauty of tea estates and meadows, while eucalyptus will dominate the vegetation, as a few wise Sinhalayas chose to replace the evergreen tropical trees with eucalyptus and pines, and they will be proud of their achievement.

In a few decades, Tamils and Muslims will rule Sri Lanka although they would be the minorities and Hindu Kovils will virtually replace Buddhists temples as the Sinhalaya will increasingly depend on gods for their success in examinations, businesses, elections etc. and Buddhist priests will need funds to run temples having Dewales, the money generators with Kapuraalas, and with monstrous statues of Hindu demigods, looking hard at the worshippers, to bring fear!. Tamil language will survive the onslaught, as Tamils will value their heritage and culture.

In a few decades majority of land in the island will be owned by foreigners as Sri Lanka is being sold for dollars and pounds, to make a quick buck driving the land value 100 fold.

In a few decades, few Sinhala people will be in tears lamenting over the stupidity of their race and Mother Lanka will join them in their time of grievance.

I hope the two cents worth of this content, will instigate JVP, Hela Urumaya, and other patriotic people, to take stern and whatever drastic action to turn back the clock before we lose everything so precious, our culture and our heritage. This is no Sinhala blind chauvinism but a move to protect a language and religion, justifiable on any level of human dignity, understanding and thinking. It’s noteworthy to mention that most Sri Lankan degrees and diplomas are recognized in most countries including Canada and Australia.

One needs no London qualifications to emigrate to these countries and thanks to the stupidity of Sinhalese, pounds pour into England through examinations. The importance of learning, using the mother tongue has been stressed time and again and even Buddha had commented on this vital issue. Independent thinking peoples of most countries developed their countries in Europe and Asia, not based on a stupid English language but through proper long term planning, commitment to hard work and dedication. English language should be taught as a language in all schools and universities,
