The relentless bombardment, and continued
fighting only way to end LTTE terrorism.
The people in terrorist controlled
areas may rise against the terrorists, as
there is no greater instigator to revolt than the fear of starvation.
By Charles Perera
As it had been said on several occasions the military power of the LTTE
terrorists is a myth, that kept the government at bay fearing a disastrous
onslaught by the terrorist vermin. They may have the heavy and light
assault arms supplied to them by the Norwegians and purchased by them,
through their front associates. But what they lack is the men to use
them.
The men, women and child LTTE terrorist fighters, encouraged by a sentiment
for an imagined homeland, driven through fear to face the government
army and die, or turn back and be shot by their own leaders, have no
clear understanding of what they fight for.
The soldiers, on the other hand, kept away from fighting the terrorists,
who had been killing their comrades in arms, and their officers, by
a ridiculous CFA forced upon them by the cowardly Ranil Wickramasinghe,
were waiting for this chance to fight the terrorists unto their last.
Therefore, they are fighting with the determination to rid the land
of their birth from the beastly terrorists. They know the reason why
they are fighting and know their enemies as a vile, destructive and
a malignant force, that should be destroyed completely for the good
of their country and their nation.
Therefore nothing can stop the army from winning their war against
the LTTE terrorists.
The fighting should continue with renewed strength, and relentless bombardments
, until Tamil Selvam stops his barking, and their tin soldiers lay down
their guns.
The obstacles we have are our own anti-war lobby instigated by the
NGO paymasters, the UN ,and the Red Cross. There are said to be large
numbers of people in the areas controlled by the LTTE terrorists, running
short of food and other necessities. These people will eventually understand
that the plight they are faced with is because of the stubborn terrorists
continuing a loosing battle, and taking them along with their selfish
dream of a homeland, when in fact the whole of Sri Lanka is their homeland
, sharing it with the Sinhalese, and Muslims as their brothers and sisters.
This realisation will make them revolt against the terrorists, for there
is no greater instigator to revolt and fight than the fear of starvation.
Therefore, though it is important that the people should be fed, waiting
just a bit may reverse the present trend of the poor people trampled
under the iron foot of terrorism, rising up like giants to their freedom.
