Two illegal Airstrips, illegal Cessna light aircraft, illegal Czech-built Zlin Z-143 aircraft?

Mr. President what are you doing?

Where are Ranil & CBK - the puppet leaders who ruled the Paradise Island while one of the most barbaric killers in the modern world were building airfields and acquiring air crafts and high powered radio and TV transmission equipment.

Who is the spineless, gutless leader/s who allowed the terrorists to acquire these hardware? Where are Sri Lanka’s military leaders? Are they soldiers or are they too pen pushers who collect a salary at the end of the month?
Does the country’s leader have any military advisors? Or is the leader getting his advising from the Norwegians?

Are you all dreaming or am I?

What next for the terrorists? Submarines? Battleships? Imported duty free by the GOSL.

Whichever way we look at this mess one thing is clear. There is Al Queda, Hisballah, Hamas and a score of other killers and terrorist groups in the world. No government has ever allowed them to even dream about having any aircraft. LTTE a banned terrorist group, is the world’s first to be allowed to have an air force. And who allowed them to? Ranil & CBK an now you Mr.
President.

Mr. President! it is a small wonder that innocent, men, women and children, soldiers and even army commanders get butchered by these killers.

Mr. President, Ranil, CBK, do you people ever sleep at night? How do you feel when innocent people of the Paradise Island get killed everyday? You have seen the ugly results of a single LTTE suicide bomber. Can you imagine what kind of damage 2000 pounds of air craft, full of fuel, flying at 150 miles an hour crashing onto your parliament when it is in session, or to a crowded railway station, or to a full blown (crowded) cricket match, or even you? Mr. President you’ll be worse than Nero who played a violin while Rome was burning.

This piece of news does not call for two Kafir Jets to drop a few bombs, make headlines, return to base and then go on with business as usual. That is a waste of tax dollars and a shame. You got to have a strategy – a military one. A team of dedicated soldiers, a plan, and then action. Shoot the air craft down while they are in the air. It is foolish to bomb runaways. These aircraft only need dirt tracks to take off. Even if the SL airforces’ inaccurate arbitrary bombing make a few holes on the runaway in a few hours the runaway can be made operational with a Bobcat. These aircraft do not need BIA type airports. But if you take out the aircraft there is no need for a runaway. So take out the hardware first. Do not delay. Hunt them down. Or are you waiting for LTTE air craft to draw first blood and give you a reason to go after them? Now why doesn’t that surprise us?

The success of the LTTE is more than anything else due to the inability to act when necessary by the Sri Lanka’s successive leaders and by field commanders (who eventually have become puppets to corrupt and spineless leaders).

Mr. President now that General Fonseka is back, how about handing over the position of Commander of the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka to him for twelve months and let him have a free reign? I know you are a good man but you ain’
t fit to be a head of the armed forces. You are too humane. A pal of mine, a fellow American once told me that “A kind hearted hooker is always pregnant”. You cannot be a saint and try to safeguard a country at the same time.

When you allowed a killer dog like Daya Master to get the best medical treatment in the country while he (probably) gave orders to kill innocent civilians from his hospital bed, you lost the respect of a lot of us.
Successive leaders of Sri Lanka have become the laughing stock of the world.
Ask Sri Lankans or ex-Sri Lankans who work abroad. The whole world has given you the mandate to snuff out the LTTE. Yet you sit down and watch.

You probably are the one and only chance Sri Lanka will ever have.
