P. NEDUNMARAN AND SOME OTHER
LTTE SUPPORTERS WILL INVADE SRI LANKA TERRITORY
ON SEPTEMBER 12

Tamil Nadu rabble rouser and supporter of the Liberation Tigers of
Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and leader of the Tamil National Movement P. Nedunmaran
has stated that he would invade Sri Lanka’s war-torn areas carrying
medicine and food in support of the Tamil Tigers.
Nedunmaran threatened the invasion after the Indian Red Cross has refused
to carry the material his political organization has collected for the
“Tamil people of Sri Lanka” .
Nedunmaran’s organization is one of the outfits suspected of being
on the payroll of the LTTE in Tamil Nadu who are acting as their agents.
The LTTE is using Tamil Nadu to procure arms, ammunition, fuel and
medicine for its continuing insurgency in Sri Lanka.
If Nedun Maran is successful, it would be the second time Indians are
violating the sovereignty of Sri Lanka after the Indian planes entered
Sri Lankan airspace after former Indian Prime Minister ordered to drop
food from air which are now christened as “parippu bombs”
in Sri Lanka. After that over disagreements the LTTE assassinated their
former sponsor, Rajiv Gandhi.
Nedumaran said addressing his organization ,the Sri Lanka Tamil Supporters
Conference ''though we have collected food items and medicines worth
Rs one crore( ten million) and handed them over to the Indian Red Cross
Society, the Centre has not permitted the Red Cross to take the items
to the island nation.'' Nedun Maran further stated the Indian Red Cross
had informed him that they were unable to carry the alleged war aid
to Sri Lanka as the Indian Central government in New Delhi would not
allow it.
Nedunmaran has attacked the UPA government in New Delhi and the DMK
government in Chennai for not helping the “Tamils” in Sri
Lanka.
Nedunmaran has threatened to invade the sovereign territory of the
island republic by sailing from Rameshwaram coast, September 12, to
distribute food and medicine in the war torn areas in the North.
Political observers said that Nedunmaran is acting on behalf of the
LTTE to raise a “humanitarian” cry against the Sri Lanka government
and catch headlines for propaganda.
To whip up public support for his political cause and rouse the Tamil
public opinion against the Karunanidhi government in Chennai two propaganda
rallies, one from Tiruchirapalli to Nagapattinam and another from Madurai
to Rameswaram, are being organized , from September 7 ,his organization
has said.
Strongly worded resolutions have been adopted at the conference condemning
the New Delhi government for not permitting the Indian Red Cross Society
to take the relief items to the island nation and the Tamil Nadu government's
failure to help the affected Sri Lankan Tamils.
