Mrs. Margaret Beckett, if you only know a little more about these LTTE terrorists !

(With terrorism any thing can happen,in London an innocent Brazilian was shot dead without questions asked!)

The British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett, is so worried about us the poor Sri Lankans. She makes an apparition like a saintly mother to us. She had said “ (I am)*….seriously concerned by the escalation in conflict,’ and ‘the terrible humanitarian impact this has had on the civilian population of Sri Lanka,’. Poor lady she must be spending sleepless nights worried about us.

When the civil population was really suffering under the most ruthless LTTE terrorists, being massacred, subjected to torture, extortion, kidnapping young children dragged away from their families by the terrorists to be trained as fighters and suicide bombs, there was no one like the Good Lady Margaret Beckett to cry for them , and plead for their cause.

Now that the terrorists are being mauled by the army and the poor civilians begin to have hopes of being able to settle down with more assurance, the international Community the Good Lady Margaret Beckett and the Good Mister Richard Blake are waking up ( it seem more to save the terrorists than the civilians), to tell the government that there is no military solution possible, and that the terrorists have a significant capability to attack and therefore both parties should talk politics.

These Chrisitian Political Messiahs seem to ignore the fact that the Government is ready to talk politics or even social small talk, about the weather, the families and children over a beer or a cup of tea with Prabhakaran, and even with Soosay, Black tiger Chief, but it is they who do not want to talk .

Therefore, Dear good Lady Beckett try and meet Prabhakaran and ask him to meet our President Rajapakse and have a powwow for the sake of the Civilians and yourself who spend sleepless nights worrying about our civilian population.

Mrs. Beckett was probably not born when our dear Foreign Minister late Lakshman Kadirgamar, was shot in cold blood by the terrorist. How sad she would have been if she had known ? And we loved him very much . May be Margerat Beckett, should be reminded of the way the terrorists protected the civilian population then, when the field was clear for them, taking cover under a illegal document called CFA signed under a secret pact between Prabhakaran and Ranil Wickramasinghe, without any interference or retaliation by the Sri Lanka Army.

And during that period Mrs.Beckett, the International Community, who now try to lord over talking down to us telling that both sides should negotiate for peace , was maintaining a “holy” silence.

Dear Mrs.Margaret Becket, then, when the terrorists could do what they wanted without the Sri Lanka Army intervening to stop them, there is a long recorded list of their terrorists activities which are massacres of civilians : Kebithigollawa massacre (over 64 dead), Gonagala Massacre(54dead), Anuradhapura massacre (146 dead),Dehiwala train bomb( 56 dead)Palliyagodella massacre(166 dead), bombing of Sri Lanka CentralBank(102 dead), Horana massacre of Sailors of the Navy on vacation .

Dear Mrs. Margaret Beckett, besides those massacres of civilians the terrorists also assassinated their political opponents:

Alfred Duraiyappah , Mayor of Jaffna Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India Ranjan Wijeratne, A Cabinet Minister of Sri Lanka Lalith thulathmudali, A cabinet Minister of Sri Lanka Ranasinghe Premadasa, President of Sri Lanka Gamini Dissanayak, Presidential Candidate of Sri Lanka Major General Parami Kulatunga, Nadaraja Ravi Raj, Sri Lankan Parliamentarian.

and attempted to murder Mrs. Chandrika Kumaratunga, a former President of Sri Lanka, Lt.General Sarath Fonseka, Sri Lanka Army Chief, and Gotabhaya Rajapakse, Secretary of the Defence Ministry.

Then they assassinated the following moderate Tamils with whom they disagreed:

Appapillai Amirthalingam, Leader of TULF Vettivelu Yogeswaran, TULF Politician Sarojini n Yogeswaran, Mayor of Jaffna Pon Sivapalan, Mayor of Jaffna Neelan Thiruchelvam, TULF Politician Kethesh Loganathn, Poltical activist.

Now you have a rough idea of these terrorists and what they are capable of doing. Do you still think Mrs. Beckett, that we should sit round a table and talk peace with these barbarians, simply because you, Richard Blake , the UN and the International Community want us to do so ?

Perhaps you and your International Community, sympathise with these , abhorrent, scum of terrorist through a sort of a “modified” Stockholm Syndrome. There is no other explanation why you all keep telling us that both sides should negotiate, when you very well know that it is the terrorists who do not want to negotiate, and secondly there is nothing to negotiate with the terrorists as they do not, repeat, do not, represent the Tamil people.

Dear Mrs Margaret Beckett, I cannot help feeling that there is a sort of a conspiracy between you and the American Ambassador , besides the whole of the International Community, against our poor Sri Lanka. I say that because what you say and what Richard Blake says are almost the same thing , as if you have discussed it before hand. For instance you are reported to have said: “…..there can be no military solution alone to the conflict “. And Richard Blake is reported to ,have said,” ……I don’t think a military solution is possible without a parallel political strategy.” It is strange isn’t it ?

When there is terrorism any thing can happen, Mrs. Beckett. You remember in London after the terrorist bomb attacks, a poor Brazilian man who was running to catch the underground train because he did not want to be late to work, was “ shot in the head” by a British policeman. That was sad wasn’t it ? Then nobody asked the Government of Great Britain to negotiate peace with the terrorists !!!
