THE POLITICS OF HARM AND HATE

Pakiasothy Saravanamuttu (PS), the writer of the above mentioned article in the Morning Leader of 28th February, should be reminded that the National Movement Against Terrorism is just that - a movement against terrorism. Wherever terrorism raises it head against the sovereign state of Sri Lanka, the NMAT will go all out to prevent it! PS and his ilk cannot accept the fact that against the scourge of the Tamil terrorists out to break up and destroy the nation, there is also the nationalist forces, determined to preserve that nation!

Each nation can have only one country, which is its motherland-England for the English, France for the French, Sri Lanka for the Sinhalese. Tamilnadu is for the Tamils. The Tamil attempt to set up a second country for itself in another land is simply an invasion! Is it not childish of PS and his like to gnashing teeth and flailing arms around in a frenzy that the majority of Sinhalese are not, repeat not, prepared to succumb to a bunch of minority terrorists, out to grab their land?

PS wants the message of humanity, compassion, reconciliation and unity spread, rather that of hate. We are at a loss as to why he is preaching this gospel to the Sinhala victims, without going up northwards with his tidings to the Jesuit Sun God and his band of slaughterers,extortionists, robbers, drug peddlers, child molesters etc. PS and his own band of peace mongers can rest assured that for every shot fired by terrorists to disintegrate the nation, there will certainly be another in response to preserve it! Until that happy day, when terrorism will be wiped out in this blessed island, for ever.
