Fags to Fight the Final WarDilrook KannangaraFinal war of the LTTE was long anticipated; it has been training for the final war since 2002 according to threats made since the CFA. Their final war is surely not the final for us. In spite of Ranils surrender in February 2002, tigers were preparing for the final push. Now it has become a worthless proposition that the LTTE is trying to sell to the people under its tyranny. Due to continuous and daring attacks by the SLAF and other units of the armed forces, people in LTTE controlled areas have come to understand the true colours of the war and the true strength of the security forces. For the first time in 24 years, people started moving en masse from
LTTE held areas to GoSL controlled areas even during military operations.
In wide contrast, people moved to Vanni from Jaffna in 1995 when Riviresa
forces were banging on the doors of Jaffna. Knowing very well that
adults (capable of giving consent) are not going to join the LTTEs
planned mass suicide, it is trying to woo more children into its cadre. Unless the Defence Secretary resigns, the LTTE is going to be extinct;
the sun god who made Ranil the prime minister not once but twice and
capable of a repeat will become a mummy. This brings Ranil to the
battlefront; he works overtime to discredit Sri Lanka; provide lip
service to the LTTEs campaign; muzzles media that speaks the
truth (truth being Sri Lanka is an undivided nation where democracy
rules); anticipates further tiger droppings to rejoice himself and
promotes surrender as the panacea for all our ills.
Failure to adhere to these provisions should render a government
invalid and its members individually liable to be punished by death
and property confiscation. This poison pill (a deterrent used against
corporate takeovers) will frustrate all endeavours by terrorists and
their fags to turn democratic institutions into terror bases. Two-thirds
majority in parliament can be easily obtained for this worthy cause
and it will be passed by the people with a landslide at a referendum.
Its a shame that voters have been denied any opportunity to
air their views directly about the conflict, its resolution, etc.;
they are waiting to teach a memorable lesson to all traitors using
the tools of democracy. This will also limit foreign interferences. |
