UNP's General Secretary Tissa Attanayake
in an interview to a well known and a well-read international newspaper
expressed UNP's displeasure over the de-merger of North and East.
Tissa! Tissa!! Tissa!!!

You are a shame even to your name. There were many Tissas, very honorable
and strong Tissas in the History of Sri Lanka. Not SISSY Tissas.
While he was the Prime Minister of India Nehru never went to Tamil
Nadu. He was too scared. Indira sold Sri Lanka (not just North and East
but the entire country) to appease Tamil Nadu (and tamils in Sri Lanka).
Later on, merging North and East was a part of a MASTER PLAN hatched
by Indian leaders together with your (UNP) puppet leaders to appease
Tamil Nadu. Rajiv went along to honor his mothers plans, but the ungrateful
LTTE murdered him in a most despicable way.
You and the bunch of arrogant and foolish so-called politicians of
the UNP were used by the LTTE and then dumped. Remember the last general
election. The UNP were puppets in a game and were used. Ranil seems
to be preaching to the rest of the world about how to bring about good
governance. Before the leader of UNP goes overseas on silly lecture
tours to solve the world's problems, he should read and understand the
mess he created in Sri Lanka.
After having read the Political Column in last week's Sunday Times,
where a very clever writer tried to dissect the Presidents performance
of the past 13 months, it is my opinion that, Tissa and all others like
him in UNP and in Sri Lanka in general realize that every bomb that
costs about 2000 dollars (to Sri Lanka's poor economy) that is dropped
on East and North to destroy the LTTE (and sometimes that causes collateral
damages) is because the foolish politicians headed by Ranil were busy
making dirty money and handing the country on a platter to the LTTE.
LTTE fortified themselves, bought aircrafts, built runaways and was
calling themselves formidable sea and air power. The UNP sold Sri Lanka
down the drain. Just like Oliver Cromwell did in England, you traitors
should be given the capital punishment, publicly. Tissa, just to let
you know (in case you did not read history) The King Charles of England
was de-headed in public.
What a Mess your so-called politicians and political leaders created
in Sri Lanka. You simply have no right to talk about mergers and de-mergers.
You all are nothing but a bunch of donkeys. Do not make the Sri Lankans
laugh. The Sri Lankans are not fools. You all signed on to support the
ruling party to help Sri Lanka solve its problems and yet you go around
taking cheap shots at a very brave and a dedicated Sri Lankan. Sri Lanka's
only President since it's independence to stand unwavering in his duty
to impart a just government, a fair rule, while maintaining Sri Lanka's
identity nationally and internationally.
I respect the CBK for only one smart decision she made during the dark
years she ruled Sri Lanka. She fired Ranil!
May I suggest you change your name to Attanayakam or Attanayagam. Then
may be you suggest to your boss too to change his name to Wicramasingham
Please do us all a favor. Stop giving interviews to respectable newspapers.
