STATUE OF LORD BUDDHA DESECRATED TO ATTACK GOTTO-BAYA GOTABHAYA.

People hail him overwhelmingly. Trust him as the best hope for ending the terrorist atrocities bewildering the country for over three decades. When he speaks and what he speaks, he voices the hearts of the masses out. He is a daring gallant personality representing the true sense of his name. He lacks the spineless qualities, a chronic disease afflicted with the country’s many politicians. He has emerged as the most popular personality in the whole country. Patriotism is the strongest component in his each and every blood cell. He is the right opposite of the megalomaniac Prabhakaran, who wants him dead or deposed and that too at the earliest. Terrorist agents hidden in Sri Lanka’s capital as well as the terrorist proxies are on the look out for his blood. Treacherous and shameless politicians servile to enemies and foreign elements relentlessly attempt to disparage him and oust him from his defence assignment. Who is this controversial personality? He is none other than the Gotto Baya, Gotabhaya, whom Sri Lankans of all walks of life believe, trust and admire as the best hope for building a terrorist free peaceful Sri Lanka.

Since the Indian armed, and strengthened terrorist forces launched its horrendous separatist aggression against Sri Lanka, the country had six previous Defence Secretaries but none of them had the commitment and determination to put an end to the terrorist atrocities although four of them were ex-Army Generals. President Rajapakse had made the right and the most prudent decision in appointing Mr. Gotabhaya as the Defence Secretary.

Mr. Gotabhaya has successfully halted the threat of separatism that loomed imminent due to betrayals of treacherous politicians ever since 1987.. He has given leadership to liberate areas in the East which were under occupation partly forcibly and partly due to voluntary handover by the shameless Ranil Wickremasinghe under the ignominious CFA drafted by the terrorist patron Norway. He was instrumental in liberating Sri Lankan territory in the East from Muttur, through Sampur, Verugal, Kathiraveli to Vakarai and presently in the process of dismantling the last terrorist bastion in the East at Toppigala.

d without any right for education similar to other children of Sri Lanka and compelled to serve as child soldiers, adults incapable of getting involved in their normal vocations as they are forced to serve the terrorist outfit for a minimum of15 days each month without any remuneration, subdued to serve as human shields whenever it required, subjected to extortion and prohibited to leave the terrain even for obtaining treatment for chronic ailments.

Intrepid and lucid in his speeches whenever and wherever he speaks, the Defence Secretary has quite rightly and boldly exposed the duplicity of the West and the deceitfulness of their agitations against terrorism and the scam about their protection of human rights when it comes to Sri Lanka. He has brilliantly exposed the western covert and overt collaboration for protecting and promoting the worlds most innovative and ruthless terrorist organisation despite this same organisation remain as a listed proscribed organisation in their respective countries. All Sri Lankans should unreserevedly and wholeheartedly admire the daring exposure of western duplicity made by Mr. Rajapakse through their most powerful media organs BBC and the Reuter News Agency and also through the International Herald Tribune published by the New York Times.

The most valid point emphasized by Mr.Rajapakse in his recent interviews is the fact that the western powers have acted as a safety net for the terrorist outfit providing complete protection to them without taking any appropriate and meaningful steps to censure, punish or condemn them when they blatantly violated the ceasefire with bomb attacks and murder, back-tracked on the demand for peace talks, continued with murder, extortions and other inhuman activities.

The terrorist outfit, the treacherous Ranil Wickremasinghe’s Junk-UNP and peace vultures have launched a joint and several attempts to eliminate Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapakse politically and physically. As it has become impossible for his physical elimination, following the unsuccessful suicide bomb attempt, these joint enemies are making relentless effort to defame and depose him in order to go for this throat consequently. The campaign, noticeably, started with Mangala-Sripathy allegation of irregularities in the MIG 17 purchases from Ukraine, Mr. Mangala Samaraweera’s allegation on threat to his life from Mr. Gotabhaya, the horrendously bloated media assault alleging that he had threatened the Daily Mirror Editor, he was responsible for transportation of 376 persons lodged in Colombo without valid reasons, and the media and SMS allegations about abductions and disappearances of persons business tycoons in Colombo, continue unabated. Also, in another attempt to get Mr. Gotabhaya ousted, the treacherous Ranil Wickremasinghe also used one of UNP’s notorious “Pattara Nonas” to mislead Mr. Janaka Perera, merely to divide and weaken the security establishment.

In the latest attempt to defame and monstorise the image of the Defence Secretary, the terrorist outfit, which does not respect any religion, which has a record of killing Buddhist worshippers at Anuradhapura Sri Maha Bodhi, murder of Buddhist priests at Arantalawa, killing of Muslim worshippers at Mosques in Kattankudy, bombing to demolish the Sri Dalada Maligawa Kanday, a site venerated by the World Buddhist community, has resorted to a highly despicable act of desecrating the image of Lord Buddha which should be condemned by everyone.

The “neruppu.org” website published by the terrorists from Norway has printed a desecrated statue of Lord Buddha in the Padmasanaya form at Mahamevuna Uyana, where it is claimed that he delivered his first sermon. In this attempt to desecrate Buddhism on the one hand and defame Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapakse on the other, the head of the statue is replaced with that of Mr. Rajapakse and the caption in Tamil says “Prabhakaran should be killed within two to three years – Gotabhaya”. This inhuman desecration of a venerated religious symbol and captioning it with a slogan of violence is a serious and despicable insult to all the Buddhists and peace loving people who respect the message of peace and compassion preached by Lord Buddha. This blatant desecration of the statue in one of its most venerated form should be strongly condemned by everyone

The Junk-UNP Leader and his cohorts, the Sinhala appendages of the terrorists nourishing on terrorist and foreign money, and the loony gangs making uproars about human rights violations who spare no time to protect and promote the terrorists should also be held responsible for this desecration of a venerated religious symbol as they uphold and endorse all actions of the terrorist outfit.
