USA-UK war in Iraq and Afghanistan consists of Violation against Human Rights of soldiers and civilians.

What is the problem with America, and Great Britain for them to think that there are two different types of terrorism: one which is UK-US terrorism and the other which is Sri Lanka terrorism ? And according to them and supported by Richard Blake and Beckette, the solution to the two terrorisms is again two fold. The solution for their UK-USA terrorism is war and Sri Lanka terrorism is negotiations.

Let us go further into it. The UK-USA terrorist are invisible. They come, and cause maximum damage and disappear. Therefore they have to run looking for the probable breeding places of the USA-UK terrorists and destroy the nests before the seeds of terrorism hatch. In Sri Lanka the terrorists are home bred. There nestling places are known and far easier to locate them and destroy them. But according to Sri Lanka thinking terrorists are terrorists whether they are home bred or imported from abroad.

UK-USA sending their soldiers in thousands to Iraq and Afghanistan, are making these young men fight a war for the President of USA and the Prime Minister of UK. And they die for Bush’s and Blair’s war. That is there terrorism.

Our-Sri Lanka, fight against terrorism is on the other hand to free our
home country from a band of men who became terrorists and who wants to carve out a part of our Island for an Eelam State, and became a very ruthless terrorist group. They were able to make convincing propaganda against the Sinhala the majority community and whip up the national sentiments of the Tamil people residing abroad, and get them to contribute for a war to have a separate state for the Tamil people of Sri Lanka.

Our Sri Lanka terrorists are mislead elements who were even supported by the Western countries who did not know the beginning and the cause of terrorism helped the terrorists, on the false assumption that they were trying to liberate an Eelam taken over by the Sinhala majority Government.
Our soldiers are not waging a war but retaliating when ever the terrorists attack the civilians or the army. Our soldiers die for the country, not for a war forced upon them by the President Mr.Mahinda Rajapakse, as in the case of their war- USA-UK war where the young American and British soldiers die fighting the Bush and Blair war.
There is a real reason of their war – the USA-UK war in Iraq being a violation against the human rights of the young American and British Soldiers. After all soldiers also have human rights !!
Have the 38 Lawyers lead by New Jersey House Representative Rush Holt who wants George Bush to appoint a peace envoy to Sri Lanka to survey Human Rights Violations, attended Cindy Sheehan’s anti-war campaign or taken part in the candle light vigils organized by the Moveon.org.
Mrs.Beckett, Richard Blake, Rush Holt, Irene Khan, there is Human Rights violations on your door step. What have you all done about them ? You all
should put your house in order before you interfere into the affairs of
Sri Lanka, which without your meddling will be able to settle the terrorist problem on its own.

Cindy Sheehan, an American mother who lost her son in Iraq and has traveled America championing an anti-war campaign, arrived in Istanbul on Friday. "I am excited to learn more about Turkey and your people," Sheehan said at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport. "It is a difficult position to be so close to Iraq where my son died. We must work together to bring peace to the region,"
said Sheehan.
Sheehan stressed that the Iraqi people "are suffering badly and their country has been destroyed.” “Humans all across the globe must come together for peace and encourage leaders to make peace,” she said. “Only when all of us unite for peace may we be able to force our leaders not to permit acts that would hurt global peace."
Cindy Sheehan underlined that "as long as George W. Bush is the president, the possibility of U.S. troops being withdrawn from Iraq is very low." (end

In our Sri Lanka terrorism unfortunately, because of the stupidity of a past Prime Minister called Ranil Wickramasinghe who signed a Cease Fire Agreement ,( prepared by a Eric Solheim from Norway) with the terrorists, certain areas in the North and East of Sri Lanka were specified as terrorist controlled. This enabled the terrorists to demarcate certain areas as under their controlled and refuse the government to enter into those areas. These are the terrorist ”pockets” from which they attack the army and the civilians, kidnap their children from time to time and go into hiding..

The poor Tamil civilians in those areas demarcated as terrorists control, became the prisoners of the terrorists. And when the government carries out retaliatory action against the terrorists, the civilians sandwiched between the two parties obviously suffer. But the government have to liberate these Tamil civilians in the terrorists controlled areas as they do not live there willingly, but are being kept as the prisoners of the terrorist serving them as human shields when the army attacks the terrorist camps.

Therefore any intelligent person whether they be members of a Human Rights Watch, or a New Jersey Lawyers guild, or the members of the International Community, could, if they make a real effort, understand that the government of Sri Lanka is not willingly violating the human rights of the Tamil civilians in the LTTE terrorist controlled areas. But in liberating these “pockets “ of terrorist controlled areas there is an exodus of people rushing away from their gaolers the terrorists, and allow the government to attack the terrorists. In this tumultuous disturbance there are those that get hurt. But it is far from being a deliberate violation of the human rights of the Tamil civilians by the government.
