JVP Duality and Submission ( A gratuity for Torture and killings?) or Scapegoat ?By MahindaIt is with displeasure every body was broken on the evening of 19th Nov. 2007, when JVP voted against the Rajapaksha govt's 2008 Budget, that none expected JVP will join UNP-TNA. JVP is a party who's matured carder was mercilessly tortured and murdered by UNP during 1987 to 1990 Bheeshana period, where only present leader Somawansa only survived while other big mouths were not even aware of what really happened. The now outspoken appearing as big heroes such as Wimal, Lal Kantha , Anura Kumara and so on would have been in the heavens during that Bheeshana time, why they now getting together with UNP! The public in Sri Lanka is more wiser than you JVP think or estimate, therefore your decision was wrong and people will teach you the correct lesson in the due course unless you take fast steps to correct it. Your hair splitting theories or tactics is not digestable to our people and culture. Therefore imported Marxism from West would not work the way you think. Our culture is based on Buddhism and it's path even after 2551 years. Your complaints against any wrong doings or alleged corruptions against govt. alone can be settled later after the defeat of LTTE Terrorism from our motherland. Don't pull or help other to pull from Rajapaksha's legs at this crucial stage, and it will risk the lives of brave soldiers for ever. With the voting on 19th Nov. the public realized who are real Patriots and who are not despite Your Thundering that you are ! You have two choices; We will support Rajapaksha, the true leader who has that Spinal and vision for a new era. The Crackers lit all over the country on the evening of 19th Nov. is a testimony to that message, and JVP brothers, please keep in mind the public are with you no more other than those brainwashed cadres.
Mahinda
