The LTTE terrorist organization of Sri Lanka has been a conduit for Al Qaeda and the Philippine Muslim radicals.

Five years on, the world weep for those 3000 innocent victims who were murdered by Al Qaeda. However the same world has almost forgotton the innocent men, women and children who were anahilated daily during the past 20 years, in Sri Lanka.

Until recently the West conveniently ignored when Norway, a member of NATO openly supported LTTE.

Every human life, while, brown or black, rich or poor, is equally important. The families of those murdered whether in Sri Lanka or in USA shed their tears.

Until the current President Mahinda Rajapaksa took the reins and decided to confront the LTTE Terrorists, the entire world turned a blind eye.

India is acting like a "dog in the manger", cowering itself and objecting to help from Pakistan, Israel and China. Their political future takes precedence against terrorism, even though, three Gandhis lost their lives due to acts of terror.

The British, directed by their American masters, and some individual politicians, possibly under the influence of personal monetary gains, talk with forked tongues. Happens quite often. Several politicians in Sri Lanka have sold the country to the "LTTE Devils".

United Nations were led by a wimp till recently and another wimp is running round in circles.

Sri Lanka and indeed the world cannot afford another major attack or a series of localized terrorist attacks on soft targets and innocent lives.

The Americans and the British are expecting a possible delivery of a "Dirty Bomb" via a cargo container. With LTTE and their naval capability, may be planning cooperation with Al Qaeda, JI of Philippines, and other radical Muslim terror groups on the delivery of such, potent cargo, according to a statement made by global terror expert.

Many a time, I have suggested that the South Asian governments led by Singapore, India, Pakistan should cooperate together to address this threat.

Let us all hope that the Americans, EU and the ASEAN at large help countries such as Sri Lanka and Philippines to eradicate the roots of evil.

I take this opportunity to commend the resolve of the armed forces of Sri Lanka under the current Presidential leadership. Hopefully until the North and the East of this beautiful Island is totally cleaned up, the fight must go on.

May God Bless those who perished by acts caused by the Global Terrorism!
