ELIMINATE THE TERRORIST LEADERSHIP AND FREE THE NATION FROM DECADES OF MISERY

Since the day he killed Jaffna’s SLFP Mayor Mr. Alfred Duriappah in 1975,the megalomaniac Prabhakaran and his terrorist gang has devastated this country by brutally murdering infants, school children, innocent civilians, intellectuals, professionals, security personnel and politicians including a President while ruining the economy persistently. The latest attempt of these brutal murderers was to kill the Defense Secretary Lt. Col. Gotabhaya Rajapakse whose ascent to the post of Defense Secretary helped Sri Lankans and our valiant Security Forces to regain their self-respect as a proud nation from the abysmal status they had been thrown into by the shameless, spineless, anti-national political duo and their cohorts. When the western nations, Russia, and even India openly make cross border attacks to destroy and annihilate the terrorists operating against the interests of their nations why should Sri Lanka remain silent without eliminating the terrorist leadership operatng from Wanni?

The Norway sponsored Terrorist Website Nitharsanam has attempted to justify the attack on Mr. Rajapkse by portraying him as a mass murderer. Similar to the news item they published relating to the suicide attack on the Army Commander saying that “Mass Murderer seriously injured”, Nitharsanam in a special news report said that “Sinhala Bhudhist Terrorists’ Secretary of Defence Gotabhaya Rajapakse escapes bomb blast” The news item posted in Tamil says “In a bomb attack that took place in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, the Defense Secretary of Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka’s former Army officer with a rank of Major escaped from death. This attack occured around 10.35 Friday this morning near Pittala Junction of the Dharmapala Mawatha, Kollupitiya and was aimed at the motorcade in which the Sinhala Chauvinist Army personnel Gotabhaya Rajapakse was traveling.

While admitting that it was aimed at murdering Mr. Rajapakse, whom they condemn as a Sinhala Chauvinist, the next paragraph of the item is devoted for their usual false propaganda, so that it will be picked up by the dollar vultures as a bonanza. It says that “In the ensuing shooting done by the Special Commandos following this incident, it is learnt that one person was killed and 14 others had been injured.” It further says “Since Gotabhaya Rajapakse assumed office as the Secretary of the Defense Secretary, several thousand ordinary Tamil citizens had been killed, and in the South of Sri Lanka several hundred had gone on missing. It should be remembered that he is Sinhala Terrorist and while he was serving in the Jaffna Fort as an Army Major, he was responsible for issuing orders for the murder of several hundred civilians and as the Defense Secretary he was responsible for issuing orders for the murder and abduction of Tamils”. This is the bio-data about Mr. Rajapakse the terrorist outfit wants the dollar vultures to highlight in reporting this incident while underplaying their crime of attempting to murder this great son of Sri Lanka.

Recently the terrorist leadership using their paid bootlickers in the government ranks made a fervent attempt to prevent the Army Commander getting an extension of service. It was Mr. Gotabhaaya Rajapakse who stood firm behind Lt. General Fonseka and rewarded him with the extension of service that he was well-deserving, and Sri Lanka is obliged to give him. The Defense Secretary did not make any personal favour in this incident but acted as a true patriot knowing very well the strategic value of the Army Commander at this crucial moment.

People of this country had given a firm mandate to President Mahinda Rajapakse to put a decisive halt to the destruction and humiliation of this nation by the terrorist outfit. They have reposed resolute trust in him that he would defeat all attempts to divide this nation by the terrorists through military means or by the enemies of this nation, the alien puppets by means of federal or any other clandestine maneuvers.

From the day he was elected as President, the terrorists as well as the enemies of this nation with the backing of the vested interests, and with the collaboration of rogue politicians are making every attempt to dismember this nation and achieve their sinister objectives, which they failed to achieve through the alien anti-national puppets. During this period the terrorist outfit has killed 915 Security Forces personnel and 592 innocent civilians. How can a sovereign nation, ruled by a President elected bay the people with a mandate to purge the terrorist threat, tolerate the continuous murder of its security personnel and the innocent civilians? Which country in the world had shown patience and resilience to this type of murder and mayhem?

United States and Britain wage war in Iraq and Afghanistan claiming their forces are battling an impending threat to their nations as well as the interests of their nations and as a preventive measure to safeguard their nations in the future. Americans violate human rights and torture terrorist suspects in Guantanao Bay and in secret cells in the East Europen countries. Britain in addition to its involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan carry out midnight raids and apprehend people on suspicious of involvement in terrorist activities. Russian soldiers invade Chechniyan and many other regions of the former Soviet Union and carry out killings in the name of protection from terrorism. Philippine dispatches its armed forces to carry out operations in Mindanao. Many African nations inhumanly suppress terrorists threatening their nations. Our neighbour the hegemonic India brutally murders Nexalites, murders groups branded as terrorists in Nagaland, Assam, Kashmir and some other Northern regions.

While they exercise the freedom and the right to annihilate even on foreign soil those they consider as terrorists and potential threats to their nations, what justification is there for them to admonish Sri Lanka, a nation being systematically destroyed and the security forces and innocent civilians being brutally murdered daily by the world’s most ruthless terrorist outfit, to exercise restraint and negotiate to find a peaceful solution?

The government of Sri Lanka and its President has a constitutional responsibility to protect the nation and its people and defeat all kinds of enemy activities. The terrorist outfit will never agree to a peaceful solution as its leadership has become an outcast among the Sri Lankan Tamils. There is no country in the world that had suffered in the hands of a terrorist gang as Sri Lanka has suffered. This situation should not be allowed to prevail anymore. No sane Sri Lankan Tamil will claim allegiance to the murderous terrorist gang. Let the dogs (the so-called international community, the dollar vultures and terrorist proxies) bark. Take firm and decisive steps to eliminate the total terrorist leadership and liberate the innocent Tamils from terrorist oppression. Wipe out all terrorist insignia from Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu. Let us live as a safe and sound nation forever.
