A lesson for the`MUTTsuura at UNESCO about the situation in Sri Lanka

The Murder of talented Ms Bhutto shows that terrorism is evil and has to be defeated with what ever resources we have and the responsibility to defeat terrorism falls on all civilised humans.

It has been reported in the media, by condemning the silencing of VOT, Mr Matsuura has defended freedom of expression. Let us see how LTTE practiced freedom of expression. LTTE simply bumped off any one that expressed any opinion that did not agree with their view. Very recently (Nov. 2007) LTTE tried to kill Tamil Minister Hon D Devananda [2], using a brainwashed disabled woman, as a suicide bomber. In the past LTTE have killed over 25 Tamil politicians [7] including 2 Tamil Mayors. LTTE have also killed two democratically elected Prime ministers, PM Gandhi of India and PM Premadasa of Sri Lanka [12]. LTTE also have killed many ministers and thousands of civilians as well [9].

Sri Lanka had been haemorrhaging at the hands of the Tamil Tiger terrorists since 1975, and no one cared, not even the UN [6]. The Sinhalese have been ethnically cleaned from their home land, their irrigation system destroyed, over centuries, and no one cared. Recently, LTTE carried out ethnic cleansing of Sinhalese and Muslims [10] and still no one cared. Yet, because of the sheer economic power of the terrorists, and because the terrorists are rich, because there are a large number of bogus refugees to support the terrorists financially, that they can afford paid campaigners, there are enough people now to campaign for the terrorists.

Many, especially those in the HR industry and UN, were unaware that LTTE were carrying out an undeclared secret war against Sri Lanka. Until recently, LTTE have been the predators, preying on members of the government, the security establishment, the administrative apparatus, non-LTTE politicians, and so on without following any rules of war. We did not hear a single condemnation from Mr Matsuura and we heard very little from HR organisations or UN. Neither did UNESCO condemn the bombing of broadcasting facilities in Yugoslavia, Iraq or Afghanistan by hostile forces.

The sad thing is Mr Matsuura, like many politicians, just parrot what has been fed to him by LTTE agents, without looking into facts or understanding the real situation in Sri Lanka. However, he is not alone in parroting LTTE propaganda, UN, AI and HRW appear to be doing the same thing.

In deed AI and HRW and even UN have done nothing pragmatic to stop massive human right abuses in Sri Lanka due to terrorism, but just like Mr Matsuura, attempt to hinder or condemn practical measures taken by GOSL to eliminate terrorism.. If funding for terrorism and arms procurement is stopped then terrorism can be stopped in a humane way. Fund raising and propaganda for terrorism are still being carried out in Western countries in an unhindered manner. For example, the UK Govt. allowed a fund raising/propaganda event to be held in Excel, London on 27 – 11 – 07. UN or HR organisations have taken no practical measures to stop terrorism, with the aim of protecting human rights, I have seen complete apathy and silence on the part of UN or human rights organisations on stopping abuse of human rights by terrorists. In fact, their inaction to fight terrorism by pragmatic means, indicate that their claim to defenders of human rights is mere hollow words, and they use these hollow words to get a living from the human rights industry. If these organisations continue to hound Sri Lanka, their actions will confirm that they are not genuinely interested in human rights but merely use hollow words to get, some say, luxurious life style from the human rights industry.

Press reports indicate that Sinhala and Muslim children have been discriminated by UNESCO and this matter has to be investigated and unfair treatment of children should be eliminated.

The UN human rights enforcement machinery is ineffective, with Ms Arbour serving as the mouth piece of terrorists and hindering the efforts of GOSL to maintain law and order and uphold human rights. Ms Arbour is campaigning for the Human rights of terrorists, whilst completely ignoring the basic human right of, right to life of ordinary, law abiding peace loving, gentle citizens of Sri Lanka. UN has taken no pragmatic measures to stop fund raising, stop the bogus refugee scam, arms trafficking and other illegal activities of terrorists, but continue to bully and hound Sri Lanka, giving the impression that some officials of UN may be in the pay of LTTE. Considering the level of corruption in UN, previously exposed, any thing is possible.

If human rights organisations are genuinely interested in human rights, they should look at things such as population explosion in the world, global warming, plight of children trying to scrape a living, old people living in poverty, massive gap between the rich and the poor and so on. I have mentioned a few and measures are needed to address these problems. Addressing these problems are far more important than supporting the racist terrorist group LTTE indirectly, by hindering the actions of GOSL.

We must attempt to bring about equal opportunities to all humans on earth, reduce the massive gap between rich and poor, reduce inequalities between ethnic groups. These things need to be brought about in a non violent and non racial manner. If you use your brains, you will see that LTTE is trying to create a racist enclave in Sri Lanka to start a Tamil empire. Also if you studied history of Sri Lanka, Tamil war lords from south India, invaded Sri Lanka, which has been the home land of Sinhalese and carried out ethnic cleansing and destruction.

I want to make it very clear that I have nothing against our peace loving Tamil brothers and sisters and we all need to learn to integrate and live in peace in Sri Lanka.

What is really happening in Sri Lanka today is that a ‘blood thirsty racist’ group led by some misled Tamils called LTTE is terrorizing against the Govt of Sri Lanka and its people irrespective of their ethnicity with an intention of carving out a separate state. The majority of the Tamil community lives in peace and harmony among the Sinhalese population through out the country apart from the Northern part of Sri Lanka. The entire Sinhalese and the Muslims population who lived in the Northern area for centuries were either killed or chased away completely by the LTTE Tamil Tiger terrorists. At the moment, not a single Sinhalese or Muslim is living in Jaffna, but, many thousands of Tamils are living in Colombo, in peace.

Some of the broad aims of education [1]are to instil a good set of values to humans, respect human rights and to teach people to recognise what is right and what is wrong. By condemning the silencing a terrorist brain washing machine, that glorified terrorism, racism, suicide bombers, Mr Matsuura has shown that he has very little knowledge of values and even less knowledge of basics of education and the communication process.

It is high time that Mr Matsuura retracted his statement on VOT. If he does not, then many feel that he does not the qualities needed to head UNESCO, as he` has demonstrated lack of knowledge and competence in the basics of education and communication.

The bias of UNESCO towards terrorists is shown by the emerging evidence which suggest that UNESCO ordered combat meals for terrorists, provided terrorists with bullet proof vehicles, provided money for terrorists, conducted unauthorised visits to terrorist controlled areas, UNESCO officials taking part in demonstrations against the Govt. All the evidence add up to the fact that UNESCO is the god father to terrorists.

Again, I have to ask the question, how did MR Matsuura become the DG of UNESCO ?

Many wonder if the MUTT is “Acting the goat" or if he is he genuinely naive, gullible and foolish as some officials of HR organisations are.

The murder of a talented person such as Ms Bhutto shows the evil nature of terrorism.

Terrorist supporters such as Mr Matsuura and Mr Vaz should resign from their jobs.
