DEAD BODIES OF TIGER SOLDIERS & DIGNITYASOKA S.I was taken aback by dismay after reading the articles on LTTE objections against the display of the dead bodies of tiger soldiers. LTTE is talking about dignity? What dignity? Does LTTE even remotely practice dignity" These are all legitimate questions to be asked in this issue. LTTE headed by maniac Prabhakaran has practiced most barbaric butchery and murder world has ever known. Tigers have gotten fathers to behead their sons. Sons to shoot their fathers. Buddhist monks to be lined up and executed. Tamil children forcibly taken away from their parents to enlist as soldiers. Innocent poor villagers chopped in their sleep with machetes. Scores of people blown into pieces using suicide bombers which include one Lankan President and one Indian Prime Minister. Extorted money from expatriate Tamil Diaspora with threats to their lives. Embarked on international narcotic trading to raise money and worst of all Prabhakaran had his once closest aides Mahattaya and Pottu Amman killed purely out of suspicion. In addition, this barbaric organization has executed scores of Tamils (whom they claim to represent) who display the slightest dissent including the leaders of the democratic Tamil TULF, PLOTE and is after once dear friend Karuna's life. Murder, cruelty, butchery, deceit, betrayal and conning (salaried arm chair European idiots who show up to advice Lankan government from time to time) is the hallmark of this hell bent and banned terrorist group by the world's leading countries. By playing to any accepted civilized rules of engagement the Lankan government will only provide legitimacy to this proscribed terrorist group. Ranil in his infinite stupidity has already provided this in abundance. Given the above, what on earth gives the right for the LTTE to speak
about the dignity of the dead? The civilized world wonders !!!
