Mandatory Measures For Sri
Lanka at a Time of Mayhem!

Time appropriate to step in with a knockout punch to the likes of Reporters
Without Borders( add to that ~ decorum and intelligence) and fell them
to the floor if they dare suggest that the LTTE have any legitimacies
relative to their existence or that they aren't a military target! One
only needs to focus in a visual perspective towards once again seeing
the enactment of LTTE horror perpetrated on innocent civilians by the
two bomb blasts in Colombo, one outside a Government Ministers office
and the other in a shopping mall with conscienceless mayhem through
death and critical injury to be angered to the point of wanting Velupillai
Prabhakaran's head on a platter!
Time also to shove the parlance about the Geneva Convention and the
term 'Rights' into the trash bin which do not really apply to degenrate
criminals and psycopaths which the world has now come to realise as
the true identity of the LTTE with a psychotic as well as megalomaniac
leader and for the authorities in Sri Lanka to get on with their task
of ridding the Nation of their sick presence which is eating into the
fabric of Sovereign Democracy in Sri Lanka as does a cancer which has
to be removed!
In order to do this there have to be a few essentials set in place which
despite being termed anomalies by some now have to be viewed as imperative
necessities. It is a time to act swiftly!
It may be a good idea given the reality that infiltration into civilian
populated areas and breaches of security are not spontaneously generated
by some cause of nature and to the contrary depends on inside help where
the precise movements of the security sources are mapped, cased and
put into perspective by the cowards of the LTTE who then carry out their
evil objectives of hitting civilian as well as military targets which
logically cannot happen if there were measures strict and stringent
enough to deter them while not paying much attention to the International
Community and misguided pundits who argue against them and the time
seems right for immediate unilateral action which does not merit even
a scant iota of attention to these sources as the priority here is to
wipe out the LTTE.
If Sri Lanka has the means to acheive it and to all appearances this
seems true, there can be no more hedging and prevaricating whilst casting
aside any preconceived recriminations where the affirmative action towards
securing the Nation takes the greater priority towards the well being
of the Sinhala Nation over the pontifications of the more moderate where
moderations relative to the LTTE have become an absurdity!
Case in point being, at the present the main deterrents towards the
objective of eliminating the terrorists is not a lack of armaments.
military intelligence or firepower as the terrorists at the highest
estimate are no more that 4000 strong and even these numbers speculative
towards a diminishing order as their numbers are continually decimated
and given the head count of the total Sri Lankan Armed Forces as well
as the reserves, what is the biggest impediment towards the task beyond
foreign interference, the apprehension about aid packages being denied,
the hue and cry of the LTTE favourable factions of the International
Community?
Therefore if it means rounding up all likely LTTE supportive individuals
in built up areas in the South (and there are some matching this portraya
based on their lack of conscience, principles and motivations of greed
towards incentives given to them by the terrorists ) predominantly those
who have no bonafides towards where they are at the time or arouse the
slightest suspicion of being terrorist collaborators whose transparencies
must surely show even in some miniscule manner, there should be no compunctions
about taking every security measure needed to enforce all the laws set
in place towards this and implementing it without any acknowledgement
to so called conscientious objectors, so be it! It needs to be done!
Very simply put, at least in principle the areas of Sinhalese population
need to be fine tooth combed towards weeding out the vermin ! No mean
task admittedly but it needs to be done with a little help from the
locals entailing concerted vigilance which may even necessitate a figurative
roundup of all undesirables requiring an oath of allegiance to the State
and any one in breach of this subject to incarceration and punitive
action. Indeed such a measure was tried before and discarded in the
hue and cry of the many objectors to its modus operandi stemming from
all the wrong areas objectionable to the well being of the Nation as
well as platforms outside Sri lanka far removed from an understanding
of the root cause but perhaps a measure needing re-activation with all
due apologies to those who oppose it this time around as a necessary
evil towards National Security!
The Death Penalty needs to be re- introduced for any terrorist related
activity, the Prevention of Terrorism Act needs to be immediately re-activated
(both being dormant and in a hiatus at this stage awaiting a Presidential
nod perhaps) and casting aside the aspertions which the likes of the
UNP, TNA and others of similar ilk may throw in towards dissuading the
implementation of these, being the biased and blinkered lot they are
where all the road blocks and security check points need to be reinstated
until the LTTE vermin are sought out and destroyed and driven from the
face of Sri Lanka.
There is also a primary importance to politely order a stay of biased
reporting by Foreign Journalists often broadcasting their own viewpoints
to the world with premeditated intent to mislead in some cases through
concocted journalistic litanies and ego trips and also totally prevent
Foreign intermediaries who constantly meddle in the internal affairs
of Sri Lanka relative to the terrorist menace from gaining any access
to LTTE occupied areas. There are no legalities with a proviso that dictates
the necessity for any Foreign Dignitary to have to negotiate with globally
condemned terrorists! who need to be strafed with the full force of
the Armed Forces and bombarded continually until all their effects are
incapacitated totally as they have relinquished through their own mendacities
their rights toward recognition and need to be put down!
In the process of doing so it is more than likely that the despotic
Velupillai Prabhakaran will be destroyed and perhaps an eventuality
which may have dire ramifications for the LTTE in a scenario far worse
than the loss of Thamiselvam there recently deposed political leader
while the thought of Prabhakaran's live capture towards facing a Tribunal
to answer to crimes against Humanity is an afterthought which may have
to be pre-empted for the more rational priority of ridding him from
a Nation which would like nothing better but whether it be through the
Justice System trying Public Enemy Number One and sentencing him to
death or the Armed Forces blowing him to smithereens, Prabhakaran has
to be eliminated alongside the LTTE!
