Defend the HR of citizens and not the rights of terrorists to Kill

The recent (2 -1 - 08) killing of 5 persons, including 2 children by a LTTE bomb, numerous LTTE bombs that have killed many innocent civilians, murder of talented Ms Bhutto shows that terrorism is evil and has to be defeated with what ever resources we have. Enough is enough and it is time to take tough action against terrorists, by terminating the CFA and dealing with terrorists firmly. Those that oppose action against terrorists are simply supporters of terrorism. Tamil tigers have carried out their racist Tamil empire building mission, with funds from bogus refugees and funds from various World Tamil Organisations, over a period spanning 25 years. During this time, Tamil tigers have managed to infiltrate many organisations, and then used these organisations to carry out disinformation against Sri Lanka. Terrorism has to be defeated as soon as possible to eliminate deaths and destruction by terrorists. The responsibility to defeat terrorism falls on all civilised humans and no excuses should be used to halt action against terrorists. Opposing action by GOSL, to neutralise LTTE would simply assist terrorists.

It is essential that law enforcement authorities are given the appropriate facilities and powers to protect the life of citizens.

Black Tigers have been the deadliest among the suicide squads in the terror units across the world. LTTE is likely to use more black tigers. GOSL should not be prevented from taking practical measures to stop black tigers. It has to be recognised that LTTE is carrying out an undeclared war against Sri Lanka. Security measures should reflect the intentions of LTTE. Human right of right to life, should take priority over inconvenience to some citizens. Further protection of the National leaders, such as the protection of the President, Defence secretary, Commanders of armed forces should have priority over inconvenience to some citizens. The practical measures could be

a) Searches on lodges where terrorists could hide.

b) Stop and search.

c) Road blocks.

d) Arrest of persons with suspicious conduct.

e) Dissemination of information on how to detect bombs and bombers.

f) Electronic counter measures to deal with remote control bombs.

g) Training of civil defence forces, so that regular solders could be freed to liberate terrorist infested areas.

h) Self reliance on local defence industry in partnership with foreign friends. – to use the threat as an opportunity to help Sri Lanka’s economy.

i) Development of mass media communication using the internet, to communicate to the nation about the threat we face from terrorism.

j) Use of security cameras.

k) Intelligence gathering etc.

The Govt. could predict what the LTTE may be up to and then take preventative measures to safeguard the lives of citizens.

If the present laws do not cover a to d, above, then appropriate statutory instruments need to be made.

Those that oppose GOSL actions to curb terrorism merely end up supporting terrorism.

For the first time, the democratic forces appear to be in a position to deal with terrorism firmly. Now it is likely that LTTE agents in various organisations will maximise that their bogus ‘human rights’ cry. Unless various organisations and individuals are alert, they will be used by LTTE for their own propaganda and disinformation against GOSL.

Also NGO’s, AI and HRW should be on guard not to end up as the voice of LTTE, as has happened in the past. If they do, they should take full responsibility to the deaths and destruction caused by terrorists.

We had over 30 years of “pussyfooting “ with terrorists and it is time to stop “pussyfooting “ and take drastic and pragmatic measures to stop terrorists. The darlings of LTTE should remember that 60000 innocent civilians were incinerated instantly to stop the second world war. Also innocent Japanese US citizens were put into isolation camps in USA during the world war. Before the darlings of LTTE comment on the situation in Sri Lanka, they should look at the situation in Abu Gharaib and Guantanamo bay camps and the unlawful killings of civilians and children in Iraq.

UN , AI, HRW and some other NGO’s that have carried out malicious campaigns against Sri Lanka, have been the darlings of LTTE. UN, AI and HRW have been and probably are the bosom friends of LTTE. Who else would carry out a ‘cricket ball’ campaign for LTTE and order combat meals and give them money as well. There are few more interesting questions that need answers. If not bosom friends of LTTE, why take part in protests against the Govt., why condemn the silencing of VOT?, why ‘gang up’ against GOSL ?. It would appear that AI, HRW and UN have a cosy relationship with LTTE. They have come to rescue` of LTTE in the past, and should bear full responsibility for the death and destruction of caused by LTTE. I believe the world ought to know the truth.

Terrorism cannot be defeated by words. Firm and painful action is needed to defeat terrorism. Just as the horrible nuclear bomb was developed and used to defeat the nations that went to war, we have to be firm with terrorism and fight terrorism with a will.

Terrorists should not be allowed to take advantage with agreements such as the CFA. CFA was used by LTTE to build up strength to prepare for war. LTTE breached CFA on numerous occasions. We should learn from the past and should not be deceived again.

Sri Lanka had been haemorrhaging at the hands of the Tamil Tiger terrorists since 1975, and no one cared, not even the UN [6]. The Sinhalese have been ethnically cleansed from their home land, their irrigation system destroyed, their culture destroyed, over centuries, by invading South Indian war lords and no one cared. Recently, LTTE carried out ethnic cleansing of Sinhalese and Muslims [10] and still no one cared. Western countries and HR organisations that shed fake tears have done very little to curb terrorism. In deed, it is the apathy of western countries, and their lax immigration controls that allowed large number of bogus refugees into their countries, is the root cause of the problem. LTTE is using their wealth to infiltrate various organisations and carry out a vicious and malicious disinformation campaign against Sri Lanka.

The above statement need to be brought to the notice of IC and various friends of LTTE such as UN, AI and HRW.

The masses need to be informed that it is the time to wake up and save the country. I want to make it very clear I have nothing against the peace loving Tamil brothers and sisters and we should work together to defeat terrorism.

Many, especially those in the HR industry and UN, are unaware that LTTE is carrying out an undeclared secret war against Sri Lanka. Until recently, LTTE have been the predators, preying on members of the government, the security establishment, the administrative apparatus, non-LTTE politicians, and so on without following any rules of war. LTTE used CFA to carry out their undeclared war, and it makes sense to terminate the CFA that facilitated LTTE to carry out an undeclared war.

It is worth remembering that and reminding friends of LTTE in UN, AI and HRW LTTE tried to kill Tamil Minister Hon D Devananda [2], using a brainwashed disabled woman, as a suicide bomber. In the past LTTE have killed over 25 Tamil politicians [7] including 2 Tamil Mayors. LTTE have also killed two democratically elected Prime ministers, PM Gandhi of India and PM Premadasa of Sri Lanka [12]. LTTE also have killed many ministers and thousands of civilians as well [9].

I would like to know a single practical measure taken by AI and HRW to protect the basic human right of, right to life of ordinary peace loving, law abiding Sri Lankans, from threats posed by terrorists.

If funding for terrorism and arms procurement is stopped then terrorism can be stopped in a humane way. Fund raising and propaganda for terrorism are still being carried out in Western countries in an unhindered manner. For example, the UK Govt. allowed a fund raising/propaganda event to be held in Excel, London on 27 – 11 – 07. UN or HR organisations have taken no practical measures to stop terrorism, with the aim of protecting human rights,

It appears that UN agencies and HR agencies have no idea about the racist, empire building, deadly nature of LTTE and the modus operandi of LTTE. These organisations have done absolutely nothing to stop terrorism and is attempting to gang up and bully Sri Lanka. This is clear abuse of Sri Lanka.

The action of UN and HR organisations, being critical of Sri Lanka only helped LTTE terrorists and is delaying freeing the country from terrorism.

In a nutshell, Western countries, that turned a blind eye to LTTE fundraising, are responsible for the whole mess in Sri Lanka. They should compensate the victims and Sri Lanka in an appropriate manner.

Norway and other Governments that assisted terrorists directly or indirectly ought to compensate the victims of terrorism.
