LTTE Terrorists "Like a Cat on Hot Bricks"

For 30 years, LTTE terrorists enjoyed all the VIP treatment possible from western powers & INGOs and NGOs who all opted to believe the sob stories about how the Sinhalese were ill-treating & harassing Tamils in Sri Lanka, as a result that the LTTE was fighting for a "Tamil Homeland" in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately for Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Governments & our so called leaders of the times, never made any constructive efforts to get the correct story told to the outside world which resulted in LTTE succeeding in deceiving the western world.

The LTTE and its terrorist agenda does not represent( repeat "does not") the entire Tamil community that lives within the boundaries of Sri Lanka- only a minority group that is power hungry and can wield power within the Tamil community only by resorting to an armed struggle due to the fact that the Hindus who constitute the majority Tamil community in this country, will not accept Prabhakaran as " the sole representative" of the Tamils. Prabhakaran and the LTTE terrorists are & have always been heavily supported, nurtured and protected by the Christian Churches and Christian backed INGOs and NGOs operating in this country. For these groups, the war torn Sri Lanka was an ideal harvesting ground for financial gains rather than humanitarianism (which they falsely claim).

With all the horrendous stories that LTTE supporters have been spreading around the world of Sinhalese atrocities, hoards of Tamils left Sri Lankan shores to apply for "refugee status" in unsuspecting and foolish western countries who believed & embraced them and offered them sanctuary. In reality, 80% of those who fled the country did so for economic gains and not for political reasons, a fact that western governments never made the attempts to clarify!

Today, the story is a lot more different and the false propaganda spread by the LTTE, is being exposed systematically purely because western countries themselves like UK and USA also faced terrorist attacks within their own countries. It does not matter whether they be the Talebans, Al Queda or Jihadists- terrorism is the same the world over and the end results are always untold sufferings to the victims and their families. More and more western governments are seeing the true face of LTTE terrorists who have made those countries safe havens to amass financial support for terrorism using their soil. In many countries, LTTE supporters have been arrested for money laundering, credit card scams, criminal activities targeting peace-loving Tamils living overseas and in other words, LTTE supporters have become a threat to their own social security and a danger. LTTE has also got themselves heavily involved in funding politicians in western countries for them to get back government support for their atrocities being wreaked out in Sri Lanka.

In the wake of all this, the Combined Armed Forces and the incumbent GOSL has made it clear in no uncertain terms, that they mean business and their business is, to eliminate terrorism from Sri Lanka so that all communities could live in peace and harmony and most of all, the majority Tamil community could resume normal lives again! The Combined Forces and the GOSL, have also made it glaringly clear to the western supporters of the LTTE, that our internal conflict must and will be solved by ourselves in a manner suitable for the welfare and benefit of Sri Lanka- not that of vested interested parties.

Every day, the LTTE is facing crushing defeats in their stronghold -Wanni at the hands of our Armed Forces & now they have begun to appeal to India and Tamil Nadu for back-up support and to get them to dictate terms to our GOSL about the misery of warfare and how civilians are being "inconvenienced" due to the attacks against the terrorists. Yesterday, we saw a report from the BBC Tamil Service reported by Swaminathan Natarajan where the head of LTTE's political wing B Nadesan says: " War efforts of Sinhalese Government to annihilate the Eelam Tamils have been scaled up to the unprecedented level. At this point various protest meetings held by the Tamil Nadu political leaders for the support of our people has given encouragement to our people"- this shows how desperate the terrorists have become and that their days are numbered while there seems to be a silver lining appearing for the entire country thanks to the untiring efforts of our Armed Forces. At this moment, if the politicians of the likes of Mr.Karunanidhi in Tamil Nadu are so concerned about Tamils suffering in Sri Lanka, why don't they invite Prabhakaran & the LTTE terrorists to come and settle down in Tamil Nadu- because that is the true homeland of Tamils. For sure, Tamil Nadu would not want to offer this invitation because that would be the end of Tamil Nadu itself!
At a time when the LTTE leaders and their terrorist outfit is becoming desperate for their own survival, the fact that they now yearn to have the support and intervention of the Indian Government and more so that of Mr. Karunanidhi and the Tamil Nadu people shows that the LTTE has forgotten shamelessly, that Prabhakaran is a man on "the wanted list" for the assassination of the late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi on Indian soil. Having committed such a crime, if Tamil Nadu wishes to come forward to support these terrorists by bringing pressure of the GOSL, then it is quite evident that past crimes against Indian leaders is forgotten and that too rather shamelessly. Will Indian politicians wish to be seen in this light?

Even though the LTTE would hate to admit that our Armed Forces are gaining ground on a daily basis and that the majority Tamils do not want the LTTE as their sole representative, their behaviour "like a cat on hot bricks" exposes their desperation.

Even as the Army Chief has declared that LTTE members are welcome to leave their stronghold and come to government held areas except for "terrorist king Prabhakaran" and Pottu Amman, we can be sure that the Catholic Church and Norwegians through their contacts operating in Wanni must be hanging around in the conflict area- just in case Prabhakaran stretches out his hand for help so that they will be on hand to airlift or give "diplomatic protection" to remove him from the clutches of The Armed Forces! This is a possibility that no one should undermine at this crucial juncture. Therefore, large convoys supposedly carrying food and relief items to the North, must all be inspected and looked at with suspicion by the Security Forces manning all check-points.

The day will not be long before Prabhakaran and Pottu Amman must suffer the same brutality and suffering they have been wreaking out on the ordinary Tamil community and the entire citizenry of Sri Lanka.
