EU, Terrorism and Sri Lanka -Open Letter to EU .

Dear Sir,

This open later deals with the conduct of Mr Evans, nature of LTTE and issues related to the war against terrorism in Sri Lanka.

. Mr Robert Evans has attended and has spoken at an event organized by the British Tamil Forum, allegedly a front organization of the proscribed LTTE. .Many suspect that Mr Evans is a LTTE sympathiser amongst MEPs. The conduct of Mr Evans during his visit to Sri Lanka, fit the description that he is a LTTE representative rather than an EU representative He did not visit the East of Sri Lanka to see the development and freedom achieved by the people after the liberation of the East from the LTTE terrorists. Although he was offered transport by GoSL, he declined on some vague excuse and blamed the GoSL. It is likely that his alleged paymaster, the terrorist organisation LTTE, did not wish him to visit the democratic Tamil leader.

Clearly the views of Mr Robert Evans is biased and his views must be taken with a pinch of salt.. In fact it appears that he is using EU to do propaganda for the LTTE, and get the votes of Tamils in EU. Mr Evans has shown that he has vested interests and his neutrality is questionable. Therefore, his views should be taken as biased anti Sri Lanka and pro LTTE views.

In a nutshell, the situation in Sri Lanka was created by a racist Tamil group, LTTE, with a mind set similar to the Nazi group of Hitler. LTTE have killed nearly all fair minded non racial Tamil politicians so that racist LTTE can dominate the political scene. Unfortunately LTTE have managed to get politicians and media, receiving payment from LTTE, to agitate in Tamil Nadu in South India. It is time EU woke up to understand the real situation in Sri Lanka. The world need humans that are capable of distinguishing between right and wrong and promote justice and fair play for all. The world should be aware of self serving, terrorist sympathising politicians who would ‘ play to a gallery’ to get votes.

It is unfair, unreasonable, morally wrong, and unjust that EU has favoured Tamils and discriminated against the Sinhalese by giving residency status to a large number of bogus refugees. Not only that, EU has turned a blind eye to fund raising by LTTE fronts, it has allowed terrorist sympathisers in its member states to raise funds, to fund the destructive terror war in Sri Lanka. If this is not bad enough, it appears that persons such as Mr Evans is doing propaganda for LTTE!. These serious allegations against EU need to be investigated.

It is indeed very sad that EU and Canada have lost their sense of justice and fair play, unable to recognise right and wrong, unable to recognise the criminal and the victim, allowed a large number of bogus refugees into their countries and allowed funds generated in EU and Canada to cause massive loss of life and economic damage to Sri Lanka. Although many have attempted to communicate the true situation to EU and Canada, perhaps their prejudice, preconceptions and even superiority complex may have prevented the message getting through. The blame could be put on certain officials rather than the people of EU and Canada.

It is clear that Mr Evans is ‘playing to the gallery’ to get the Tamil votes. In deed, he is mimicking Mr Sleaze and Mr Bullshit, playing to the Tamil audience to get their votes. There would have been no need for such low level conduct , if there was a fair immigration policy and bogus refugees were not allowed into EU.

EU and Canada can reduce the impact of the massive imbalance they created, by allowing Sinhalese into EU and Canada to escape the death and destruction caused by funds from EU and Canada.

It is now visible that some Politicians and media in Tamil Nadu, South India, who are in the pay of LTTE are agitating, when the terrorists are loosing. The same group kept complete silence when defenceless, voiceless, poor Sinhalese families, including women and children were killed by LTTE.

The war in Sri Lanka is against racist terrorists and not against our peace loving Tamil brothers and sisters. Any self respecting Government will have to maintain law and order and will have to deal with armed terrorist in a firm manner.

EU should be held fully responsible for the damage terrorists have caused to the Sri Lankan economy and to Sri Lankan citizens, by fund raised by bogus refugees, to fund terrorism and war unleashed by LTTE in Sri Lanka. EU officials have allowed themselves to be deceived by bogus refugees hook, line and sinker. Further, these officials also have favoured Tamils and heavily discriminated against the Sinhalese, when dealing with residency in EU countries. This heavy discrimination against Sinhalese is not only unfair, and immoral, it has caused a massive imbalance in political and economic power. Any one visiting East Ham or West London would see the massive Tamil presence and hardly a Sinhala person. This discrimination against the Sinhalese, favouritism to Tamils and the damage to Sri Lanka are issues that GoSL ought to raise with EU.

It is time that GoSL and peace promoters ask EU and Canada to take responsibility for the discrimination against the Sinhalese, destabilisation of Sri Lanka and creating a situation where there is a massive imbalance in economic and political power, in favour of Tamil bogus refugees.

In my view, in Sri Lanka, we have to learn to live as one family and racist policies of LTTE should have no place in Sri Lanka .

EU can simply halt the terror war in Sri Lanka if it blocks funding to terrorists.
