Bob Rae, MP Dear Bob Rae: I was amused and irritated when I heard you admonishing the Conservative Governments’ Foreign Policy as weak on ‘Mike Duffy Live’ yesterday (Thursday, April 17), and said that Canada should get involved in places like Sri Lanka where there is a separatist war going on. See who is talking, I thought. Another God damn Liberal who provided sustenance, oxygen and a life-line to the serial killer Velupillai Prabhakaran, the leader of the Tamil Tigers for 13 long years when you all were in power. You all had every God damn excuse not to ban the Tamil Tigers when the rest of the world recognized them as a bunch of ruthless killer-terrorists and banned them. That is how irritated I was. As much as I have some respect for you as a smart politician who knows
much about what is going on in Sri Lanka having visited the island representing
the ‘Forum of Federation’ to try to convince the feuding parties
the virtues of federalism, your comment was not good musing. Bob, your Liberal Party abdicated the Nobel Peace Prize winning Pearsonian crown as a Peace Maker, the day that you all blessed the Tamil Tiger sympathizers in the GTA to collect two million dollars a month for the Tamil Tiger war-chest which went on for the next 13 years, and you want the Liberals to get involved in Sri Lanka’s affairs. You must be joking! It is just not Kosher, to allow the Tamil Tigers shoot bullets bought with Canadian dollars to kill innocent unarmed Sinhalese civilians, and then tell the Sri Lankans, we can help you to arrive at some peace deal, when you Liberals are a bunch of Tamil vote-sniffing rats and are suspect. * Surely, not when the Liberal Cabinet Ministers Paul Martin and Maria Minna, together with other parliamentarians, Jim Karygiannis, Roy Cullen, Tony Ianno, John McKay, Tom Wappel, Byron Wilfert and Joe Volpe patronized a $60-a-plate fund raising dinner for the Tamil Tigers in May 6, 2000 to continue hemorrhaging Sri Lanka, with killings, ethnic cleansing and abducting children to fight an adult war. * Surely, not when your Immigration Minister Judy Sgro, whom I have dubbed as “Canada’s God-Mother of Tamil Tigers” got up on her high horse after the December 2004 Tsunami and announced in parliament, that she would send her Immigration Officers to Jaffna to process Tamil applicants, when it were the Sinhalese and Muslims who were effected most, to bring them over to Canada to bloat the Liberal voter bank. She also said with a profusion of arrogance that she didn’t have to get permission from the Sri Lankan Government to send her Officers to Jaffna. And I told her in a letter to go back to school and study Diplomacy 101, before she embarrasses Canada before the Sri Lankan government would tell her to “go jump in your biggest lake, Lady, and cut out your bullish white mentality.” * Surely not after this ‘God-Mother of Tamil Tigers’ had to fire her senior staffer, a Tamil Tiger, after he was escorted from her office by the RCMP for suspicions of being a threat to our country, And that hopefully stopped her singing the Liberal Party `National Anthem – “O Canada! We lower our guard for a Tamil vote and fee…” * Surely, not after the Liberals let the Tamil Diaspora cut a cheque
for * Surely, not after Derek Lee, the Liberal MP for Scarborough-Rouge River eulogized at the wake of Anton Balasingham, a senior Tamil Tiger who should have been brought to the International Criminal Court in the Hague for war crimes, having been involved in the massacring of 700 policemen who had surrendered from the police stations in the eastern province on orders by President Premadasa. Their hands tied at the back, blind folded, and taken in buses in relays to Thangavelayuthapuram’s jungle near the Rufus Kulum Tank, asking them to kneel before being shot through their heads on 11^th and 12^th June 1990. * Surely, not when your Liberal parliamentarians, Jim Karygianis, Maria Minna, Derek Lee, Borys Wrzesnewsky, John Cannis, John McKay, Mark Holland, Yasmin Ratansi and Lui Tenmelkovski, stood in vigil with 10,0000 of their Tamil constituents at the Markham Fair Ground last November for S.P.Thamilchelvam, the Tamil Tiger commander of their political wing, and publicly christened these serial killers as “Doves of Peace”. And we were told that these “Doves of Peace”, had turned to be “Killing Monster Birds” and assassinated Sri Lanka’s Minister of Highways and Chief Government Whip, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, a Tamil, together with the National Athletics Coach and the Olympian Marathon runner, and claymore mined hundreds of innocent civilians. * Surely, not when your Jim Karygiannis hoisted the Canadian flag beside the Tamil Tiger terrorist flag at a Tamil ceremony in Toronto, insulting all of Canada. * Surely, not after the Scottish blarney by your Liberal MP, Dan McTeague,
who wants to open a Canadian Consulate in Jaffna, accusing the Sri Lankan
Government of “ethnic cleansing” of Tamils which was all smoke
and screens, when he was deliberately providing a cloak of respectability
for the Tamil Tigers who ethnically cleansed the Sinhalese by chasing
27,000 of them out of the Jaffna peninsula between * Surely, not after the Liberal Party's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Public Safety, Anne McLellan came under scrutiny before the Senate Committee on Anti-Terrorism, when she tried to defend the Liberal Governments' refusal to ban the Tamil Tigers, when questioned by the Conservative Senator John Lynch-Staunton. She was feeble in her answers and was turning red like a live lobster in a pot of boiling water. “But I want to reassure everyone here that I review the organization (LTTE) on a regularly basis and I will continue to review that situation”. And that was a bunch of Alberta’s Stampede boloney, Bob, and the Senator didn’t buy it, nor did I. * Surely, not after the Liberal Minister of Justice, Irwin Cotler, admitted to the Editorial Board of the National Post that the reason why the Tamil Tigers were not banned in Canada was because they did not want to antagonize the Tamil constituents, thus their voter base. That also proved positive that your Deputy Prime Minister was full of humbug, and that my assumption was right that her explanation at the Senate Committee was pitted like the crude surface of Mars.// *. Surely, not wanting to welcome nor invite a Sri Lankan Foreign Minister for the past 25 years to explain their position by providing excuses like the unavailability of the Liberal Foreign Affair Ministers, as you all knew that it would antagonize the 100,000 Tamil voter base that would effect the 10 GTA Federal ridings held by the Liberals. This lack of diplomatic cordiality is pronounced when other Foreign Ministers of other countries fly in and out of Ottawa every year. With such a catalogue of down right insipid behaviour towards all of Sri Lanka and supporting a bunch of serial killers of innocent, unarmed Sinhalese and Muslim civilians, who wants friends like the Liberal Party politicians? With all these shenanigans in support of the Tamil separatist cause to provide them a separate, mono-ethnic, racist, Tamil state, Eelam, all what I say to you, Bob, is Pox on all you Liberals and keep your Sinhalese blood soaked paws off Sri Lanka.
