MIGHTY ARMY OF SRI LANKABy M D P DISSANAYAKEPresident Mahinda Rajapakses selection of Sarath Fonseka as the Army Commander has already provided best results in the fight against LTTE. LTTE sensed the leadership skills of Sarath Fonseka and tried to assassinate him at the very outset. Under his leadership Sri Lanka has now one of worlds best fighting units, not in terms of quantity, by quality. Our intelligent solders have mastered the art of fighting a war in a splendid manner within a short period of time. The final victory over LTTE is now inches away. Prabhakarans bed fellows like Karunanidhi knows very well now the game is over. They are trying their level best to create a situation to stop the on going military operations. They have to realize the current leader of Sri Lanka is neither Ranil nor Chandrika, but Mahinda Rajapakse with a determination to save the country and provide an atmosphere of peace and harmony to all Sri Lankans. India is wary of our military skills, realizing our fighters are much more superior than the Indian fighters when they failed to eliminate LTTE. Pakistan, China and Russia have always played a pivotal role in providing training and technology in combating ruthless LTTE fighters, whilst India played a low key role, in spite of the fact that India was responsible from the beginning for providing training grounds in India to the LTTE. This is not a time to discuss about a political solution. Political solution must be found if there is a problem for Tamils in Sri Lanka. It is abundantly clear the Tamils in Sri Lanka are much better off than the Tamils in India in terms of equal opportunities and democratic rights . Tamils can live in any part of Sri Lanka, but Sinhalese are not allowed to live in North and East by the LTTE. Until the last terrorist is killed the war should not stop. Prabha must be found and killed. There is no doubt that Prabha will move to Tamil Nadu as the last resort, Karunanidi will provide the sanctuary. Before that happens we have to get him and kill to balance the books.
