A LONDON PHOTO EXHIBITION TO OPEN ON 22 DEPICTING LTTE ATTROCITIESBy Walter JayawardhanaA London exhibition of photographs depicting the the human rights violations by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) will be held in London Sri Lankan High Commission sources said. The inhuman abductions of Tamil children from their homes, playgrounds, temple festivals and training them inside abominable Tamil Tiger training camps is one of the focuses of the photo exhibition, sources said.
The photo exhibition in response to false propaganda carried out by the LTTE throughout the world will be open at Center One Hall in Chadwick Street, London will be open October 22. This exhibition is organized by Sri Lankans in London together with President's Media Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sri Lankan High Commission in London. More than 230 photos and video films depicting atrocities carried out by the LTTE including political killings as well as killing of civilians, damage to properties, suicide attacks, and recruitment of child soldiers will be exhibited. The exhibition will be attended by senior member of House of Lords, Lord Naseby, Foreign Secretary of the British Shadow Cabinet William Hague and a large number of Members of Parliament. Two more photo exhibitions followed by this are scheduled in Hague on 27 and 28 October and in Paris on 30 and 31.
