FALL OF THE 'GHETTO' EELAM AND IT'S IMPACT ON THE NORWEGIAN PEACE INDUSTRYBy Mahinda Weerasinghe Author of Mission to Oslo(Here UD stand for Norwegian Foreign office) On 23 July 2008, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva informed the Parliament of the appeal made by the Tamil National Alliance (TNA). The TNA had besieged the world at large, to redeem the LTTE terrorists from annihilation by the marauding Sri Lankan Army. In fact not many days prior to this request, LTTE came up with another ploy to escape the rout at the hands of the Lankan forces. The Liberation Tigers 'through the goodness of their heart' were going to impose a unilateral ceasefire from July 26 to August 4 in order to 'facilitate' the SAARC summit. No doubt most people were amused! Yet excluding agents of the peace industry and the terror financers, nobody took such declarations seriously. It definitely confirmed that old adage; 'you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.' Now why in the world would such a despicable bunch of murderers which killed thousands of innocent civilians, table such a request from the UN, especially when most parts of the civilised world have listed LTTE as a ruthless terror organisation, with a few exceptions such as Norway? The ludicrousness of request makes one ask, why shouldn't Al-Qaeda or Taliban come up with similar requests. Indeed if these racist murderers are given a hearing at the UN, why shouldn't the holy warriors fighting in the name of Allah be also taken off the hook? Or should we per chance assume that it's only the followers of the Prophet Muhammad who should be categorised as terrorists, while the Catholic LTTE terrorists' transgressions glossed over. Just a few days back the Norwegian Foreign Minister hinted what the difference between the LTTE and the rest of the terror organisations is. For it seems LTTE murders are not real murders but they murder in the name of freedom, on the other hand when Al-Qaeda murders one, he stays dead. Soon he will be informing that pigs can fly That's the reason why the Sri Lankans should assess such bizarre questions
thoroughly, for with the elimination of the racist terrorists from the
Sri Lankan soil, they should prepare to tackle those who are complicit
in financing this terror war now comfortably holding residence in Europe.
Steps should be taken to extradite and prosecute those racist terrorists
who financed the campaign of terror against the democratic nation of
Sri Lanka. As a result the Norwegian Foreign office mandarins and the INGOs are
finding it a daunting task to halt the impending extermination of the
'non-terrorists' terrorist in Sri Lanka. For and example the following peace of factual information has not been reported by most of the news media in Norway. It has been reported (Monday 28-07-2008) by the Defence Ministry that, "heavy earth moving vehicles, four trucks, a tractor, several land cruiser jeeps and a number of motor cycles," belonging to the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) are being used by the LTTE terrorists. "According to the evidence, this INGO had taken this fleet of heavy vehicles to the areas under terrorist control stating they would be used for Humanitarian Aid work in the area. The vehicles are now being used by the terrorists (the LTTE), to build bunkers, trenches, terror camps, and to transport terror leaders." the Ministry of Defence further reported. The paramount question in this connection is; did NPA act on its own initiative, or was this action cleared by the UD bureaucrats. Yet the truth can be more twisted than that. Indeed with the imminent fall of LTTE terrorists in the Island, a power vacuum is being generated. The peace industry which helped cultivate this conflict and fund it, is now finding their power seeping away. And UD has to plan ahead now in order to contain the blow back effect and redeem its reputation when their terrorist' friends knuckle under. I would return to assess why later, but for the moment let us assess the unfolding scenario presently and its repercussions. Indeed I received an e-mail from a Spur contact a few weeks ago and it informed the following. I quote it here in full: - "According to messages exchanged among the leading LTTE leaders in Canada a Nordic country is planning to evacuate Prabhakaran, his wife and top four aides from Mullativu in the coming weeks. Prabhakaran's health conditions and lack of vital drugs in the rebel held areas have caused concern to the LTTE hierarchy as well to his Nordic friends. His evacuation will be handled by the Sea Tiger wing and the party is expected to board a vessel now in the Eastern coast of Sri Lanka. With Sri Lankan Army at his door step, Prabahkaran is seriously considering to seek refuge in another country and live, until he can stage a comeback. "The LTTE decision makers prefer Prabhakaran to live in Norway, but among the other countries considered suitable for the LTTE chief to live are Ireland, France and South Africa. However, the military wing of the LTTE has opposed Prabhakaran's plan to seek refuge in another country as they will be hauled before the Criminal Courts by India and Sri Lanka. it " We should not put too much weight on such information. These are typical red herrings leaked by the LTTE agents. Prabhakaran's actual destination will be only known to him as he does not trust even his own shadow. Col. Karuna in an interview on the 17th Sunday Observer predicts that the 'Sun God' would head for Cambodia or Indonesia. My humble guess is, he would head for Mauritius, Madagascar or Fiji. But getting asylum in Norway is totally unrealistic under any circumstances, for a vital reason! For terror supporting clique in Norway would be unable to provide this mass murderer asylum, protection and more important, anonymity. Especially as the 'ghetto' Eelam would have dissipated by that time and opinions and views will be shifting and the Norwegians will start asking awkward questions as to who took such crass decisions and with what authority. When it dawns on the Norwegians that the Sri Lankan 'Pol Pot', the most heinous racist murderer since Hitler, is hiding among them, they would not take it too kindly. Presently they are angry that one Mullah Krekar an Iraqi rebel has received asylum in Norway. The funny thing is that there is hardly any proof that Krekar has murdered anyone. But as for this racist ethnic cleanser Prabhakaran, there are tons and tons of documented proof of his involvement. India certainly would demand that he be extradited for the murder of Rajiv Gandhi and the Norwegian Government will find itself in a collusion course with whole lot of democratic forces which will expose UD's underbelly and its honeymoon with the LTTE terrorists. Obviously Prabhakaran's friends in the Norwegian UD will help him find a comfortable abode in a third country. For they are aware that the 'SUN GOD' has a few trumps up his sleeve and will hold these financers of terror to ransom if he does not get maximum help from them. Yet I guess his earlier friends would now wish to see the back of the 'Sun God' and see him buried in a pile of shit. With the demise of the LTTE terrorists from the Sri Lankan soil the following scenario is bound to evolve. The fascist LTTE organisation will be left intact in the West. Being fascist, these purveyors's of death will seek revenge. They will quickly forget all the aid they received from its European neo-colonial allies. The LTTE agents in their frustration will start leaking information as to what they were promised and what they have received from their backers in the past. Finding their promised 'ghetto Eelam' which was to be chopped off from Sri Lanka has 'dissipated like the early morning dew' they will be infuriated. They will conclude that their 'friends' has not kept their promise. Soon information will start leaking as to how the war was bankrolled, and how it was propped up by the European 'friends'. In this connection Sri Lankan Government's job will be incomplete until hard core LTTE terrorists in Europe are brought to book and the western police agencies helped, to dislodge the racist fascistic organisation from their midst. That's when the Norsk UD's problems will start to blossom. For the mass murderer Prabhakaran is a good friend of Solhim, Mr. Vidar Helgesen, Earlier Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Hans Brattskar & Jon Westborg the Norwegian Ambassadors to Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik among others. Apex of this special relationship reached its peak when the mass murderer Velupillai Prabhakaran met with the Norwegian Foreign Minister Mr. Jan Petersen on 15 May 2003 at Killinochchi in Toto, where they hugged and kissed each other. Notice UD, we haven't forgotten! Indeed this government within a government (UD) knows just like Prabhakaran
of their none transparent activities of terror support. They would whish
such activities would simply fade away into to horizon. But actions
are like shadows will always be hitched to one. Sadly the Norwegian people are unaware of their Foreign Minster and terrorist supporting UD cliques' duplicity in Sri Lanka. But the UD knows it is sitting on a time bomb. As long as the 'Sun God' Mr Prabhakaran is alive and kicking, the terror financing clique of UD will be uneasy and their secrets will keep leaking out. On 23 August 2004 Erik Solheim and Lisa Golden of the Foreign Office met Ranjith Soysa, HLD Mahindipala and yours truly. To a direct question of mine Solheim responded angrily and advised us to go to war for nursing such anti terrorists' views! His advice was well given and we accepted his injunction. Now the Sri Lankan Army has acted on it. So it is time to return the compliment. The way I see the situation unfolding for his terrorist friends, perhaps it is time to break the silence and propose to his good terrorist comrade that he commit hara-kiri. After all those who live by the sword, die by it! By Mahinda Weerasinghe
