BUNKER BOUND TERRORIST LEADER’S FINAL MESSAGE FAILS TO IMPRESS EVEN TAMIL NADU

Amidst shock waves rocking the Indian metropolitan Mumbai by a ruthless terrorist attack which has killed nearly 200 innocent people, and which should be severely condemned by all, the world’s brutal terrorist who had killed an Indian Prime Minister and several Sri Lankan Tamil politicians and several innocent Indians in the Indian soil itself, and killed a President of Sri Lanka, several Ministers and politicians of Sri Lanka, annihilated moderate Tamil politicians, academics, intelligentsia, and dissenting Tamil masses, and killed several thousand innocent Sri Lankan masses by ruthless terrorist attacks, delivered his 17th and final Annual message which was a message of wailing, lamenting and desperately pleading the Tamils in Tamil Nadu and other parts of the world to help him in his so-called homeland struggle and take action to stop Sri Lankan government’s military operation. Entrapped in bunkers and coming out once a year to deliver a self aggrandizing message, like a rodent suddenly coming out and immediately retreating to hide in earthen holes, this year’s message of this brutal enemy of the peace loving masses completely lacked its boisterous and arrogant nature and the warnings and deadlines that used to carry habitually.

Few days after President Rajapakse assumed office in 2005 this bunker-bound enemy of Sri Lanka warned him saying that ‘The new government should come forward soon with a reasonable political framework that will satisfy the political aspirations of the Tamil people. This is our urgent and final appeal. If the new government rejects our urgent appeal, we will, next year, in solidarity with our people, intensify our struggle for self-determination, our struggle for national liberation to establish self-government in our homeland.’

Similar threats were carried out in the subsequent years despite severe military setbacks. In the last year’s message he pinned hope on the international community to help him in his struggle as they assisted in the case of East Timor and Montenegro and similar to steps being taken at that time for the establishment of Kossovo as an independent nation. He even cited his dreamland project as an effort to establish a nation for 80 million Tamils living the world over without a nation of their own.

Although majority of Sri Lankan Tamils are now living in government controlled areas and only around 100,000 Tamils are entrapped in the parts of two districts under liberation, the terrorist leader who lives on deception and distortion, attempts yet to show it as a struggle between the Tamils and the Sinhalese and blames the world nations and masses of Sri Lanka for supporting the war.

Despite his claims that they are willing for a peaceful solution and the war has been thrust on them, his speech repeatedly implies that his terrorist actions are for the defeat of the alien Sinhala forces and for the establishment of what he calls the historical Tamil homeland. Even by a cursory glance at his message one can discern that even fighting at backfoot this megalamaniac is not willing to give up his illusory Eelam goal and he is not prepared to any form of settlement other than getting his illusory objective achieved. He comes out with the truth that it was to impress upon the international community that they participated in the peace negotiations.

The speech clearly reveals that this megalamaniac who denied Tamil children their birth right to studies, their birth right to live with their families, the luxury of enjoyment in their youth, denied the luxury of married life to young boys and girls, forcibly conscripted one youth from each family(now increased to two or more), forcibly conscripted all able persons to auxiliary forces including grandmothers, is even prepared to sacrifice the last Tamil entrapped in the remaining areas towards his illusory goal and is prepared to die a Hitler’s death in a fortified bunker.

The speech should be an eye-opener for the treacherous Singlish clan consisting of UNP leadership and the political destitute Mangala Samaraweera who ridicule the Northern Liberation Operation for political expediency and for personal jealousy and envy, and stupidly calls for ceasing military operations and irrelevant peace talks with a hidden motive of providing a respite for the battered terrorists.

While calling upon India and other international countries to lift the ban imposed on them, he pins all his hopes on the racist politicians in Tamil Nadu to aggravate their protests and force the Indian government to lift the ban and intervene to save them from the current misery. Despite his desperate appeal to Tamil Nadu politicians the events there have proved that the agitations started with the Communist Party using the Sri Lankan issue to find a political forum against the Indian government were manipulated by those belong to fringe racist political parties and terrorist proxies such as Pala Nedumaran, Ramdas, Vaiko and pro-terrorist elements in the Tamil Nadu film industry such as Bharati Raja, Sarath Kumar, Rajendran, Sathyaraj etc, compelling other political parties and film industry personnel to join the agitations as a measure of face saving.

For political expediency the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, who is a pioneer of the Tamil Separatist State proponents in Tamil Nadu took advantage of the events and gave leadership to the issue under his official capacity. However, his own TV channel “Kalaignar TV” in today’s (28.11.2008) morning news telecast at 7.30 Indian Time gave only scant publicity to the speech of the terrorist leader despite its appreciation and appeal to the Tamil Nadu people. It gave only 1 minute and 8 seconds coverage to the speech and down played it as a tail end item. The news telecast carried the Mumbai terrorist incident, the funeral of former Prime Minister V.P. Singh, and floods in Tamil Nadu as lead items and was followed by arrest of two persons for taking Rs. 8,000 as bribe, arrest of two persons for pirate video offences, and a book exhibition in Madurai. The short news item relating to the terrorist leader’s speech was telecast only after that. This clearly shows that the illusory hopes of getting help from Tamil Nadu has died down and he can only seek assistance from Ranil and Mangala now who would go to any base level if something can be done to destabilize or defame President Rajapakse’s populist government.

As world leaders who condemned the sad event in India and expressed the voice that terrorism and terrorists in whatever form and wherever they raise their ugly heads should be mercilessly eradicated we hope that their attention will turn towards Sri Lanka to help it destroy the world’s ruthless terrorist outfit which has devastated Sri Lanka for the last three decades.
