INTRODUCTION
Thieves who came to grab my land
With Indian mind with Indian hand
To steal my winds, water and peaks
A snake in the grass my heart shrieks
THE MONSTERS
The monsters kept creeping with the full support of India pushing
them through the open borders between the two countries. They came to
get settled permanently hence grabbed thousands of hectares area, the
property of Nepal. These encroachers are the nurseries of India to boost
its favoured population, acquire them citizenship, augment them with
weapons and prepare a permanent rebellious groups to route its nefarious
designs for all times to come. They would act as the future watchmen
and become the eyes and ears for India to monitor the activities of
Nepal & China.
Not only this, groups then fully armed & trained would be utilized
to create impediments thus destabilizing Nepal. Criminal acts can not
be ceased but the silence over it stands more heinous which has all
along been the policy of Nepal's leadership because of their small and
shallow interests. Like free admission in the medical college in India
to a daughter of minister would turn him deaf and make him blind. So
these Gods of Nepal who are the real renegades are sold cheaply hence
the creepers gradually climbing on the back of India are swallowing
the land of mother land.
A survey researcher Buddhi Narayan Shrestha, the most distinguished
scholar who has rendered commendable services in the field of surveying
and mapping for the last 41 years, having several books to his credit
on the subject of Nepal - India border management, says, India has encroached
on almost 60,000 hectares of Nepali territory at 54 places involving
21 districts. Nepal has border disputes, conflicts, and encroachment
claims with India bordering from the smallest one of 2 hectares area
of Sandakpur to the largest one of 37,000 hectares in Kalapani.
The encroachers are placed by India with the purpose of keeping in
view the tactical requirement and the strategic importance of the area.
Kalapani a strategically advantageous point, having 20,276 feet high
hill which the Indian doctrinisms think of converting it in to stronghold
from where to fend off the Chinese Army. India instead of solving the
issue of Kalapani brings the maps where the encroached places have been
shown with in the frontiers of India which is totally a distortion of
facts. Thus India is involved in the business of mocking play when presenting
the fake and self designed maps to shun the reality.
In Susta area also India has encroached on about 14,000 hectares of
land over a period of 72 years. The intrusion happened in stages, the
latest was caused on November 22, 2007. When the Gandak Barrage at Bhaisalotan
was completed about 250 labourers that came to work on the construction
project were made to settle in Susta area instead returning to India.
They even outnumbered the Nepalis & encroached on more land. The
tragic part of the story is where these encroachers have been encouraged
by the Indian Government to grab the Nepali land there the government
of Nepal displayed a somnolence attitude even the SSB has been torturing
Nepalis thus making them flee from their homes.
The silence of the government of Nepal on such a burning issue would
always remain a big question mark. The government of Nepal has not re-
acted in the manner it should have done. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
had released a statement saying that, except for Kalapani & Susta
area the entire border issues with India had been resolved which one
could characterize it as deceiving oneself. The issue has to be brought
in to light at Prime Ministers level because the foreign minister of
India says the status quo should be maintained which is totally uncalled
for. If one square of land is lost, the Nepali nationals living on it
will turn in to aliens in their own country. Those responsible for losing
Nepali territory should be punished for being apostate.
Soon after its independence India got involved in the encroachment
business on Nepal territory and every year that gets intensified. Since
then the Indian population is gradually clearing of the jungles particularly
in the area of Tarai and getting settled with the support of the Indian
government. What a trauma it is that not only these illegal encroachers
are being rewarded to have citizenship of Nepal but the bordering cities
of India are running the sale of Nepalis citizenship certificate, reports
Janadharana Weekly. Is there any country in the world where such like
jokes are cracked to deface the identity of a country?
Nepalis must not forget the history that land lost to East India Company
must not belong to India because only Nepal has the bonafide right as
reads the 1950, treaty that says, "The treaty cancels all previous
treaties, agreements and engagements entered in to on behalf of India
between the British Government & the Government of Nepal".
But the reality is the leadership of Nepal has failed to get the1950
Treaty implemented to regain the lost territory from Indian clutches.
Indian Government is all set to construct the road on Nepalis soil
encroached by India near the border district of Saptari which is against
the spirit of International Law. The Government of Nepal is a mute spectator
on the conspiracy moves taken by India.
THE PROMISE
My beloved Nepal, the darkness will perish and the morning will soon
prevail to bring back the lambency. The selfless lot will check the
illegal steps that India takes to pirate the land. Once again the birds
& the snow packed peaks will sing the melodious songs to lure in
the people from all over the world to come and witness the beauty of
Nepal. Its water will not be wounded and wind mills will churn the wheel
freely. Now the nation knows her foe who tries to smirch the atmosphere
of Nepal to mar her beauty. The trees will grow again in jungles which
were cut by the encroachers to turn those in to fire wood.
The youth of country, has promised to chase the parasites & its
host India to drive them across the border to reanimate the charm, comeliness
and goddess NEPAL MY BELOVED!! ! ! !
CONCLUSION
Run, run, run O' monster run
Not alone with master run
My beloved has known you well
Leave my land or face the hell
