Upholding Principles Favouring the Sinhala Nation,The President Together
With the Sinhala Activists Attest Their Credibilities Rightfully. That the present Norwegian Brokered Peace Accord and Ceasefire are fatally flawed is no miscinception rather unfortunately for the people of Sri Lanka, its expatriate communities around the world as well as all the well wishers of Sri Lanka Globally who are aware of the Idyllic Nature of the Land and its People, unfortunate, as the end result of a Lasting Peace while being the ultimate logical resolution of the Nation's woes is something which cannot be arrived at, through the instigation of almost dictatorial directives given by a Foreign Nation who have no right to lay ground rules as it sees fit, nor collaborate with the LTTE in conjunction with the impaired vision of the UNF Administration albeit insistance that "the draft proposals are very preliminary with subsequent ammendments to follow", something which the Nation appears very hesitant to accept as the voicing of vast numbers of the populace in opposition to the Peace Process currently indicate and far from being an insignificant few. Sadly it appears that the Administration is more intent on appeasing Norway and the LTTE rather than the Sinhala Nation together with many other ethnic groups within the Nation who have voiced their disapproval on the issue of the peace process and ceasefire and very interestingly based on legal realities presented by the Sihala Urumaya and the Sinhala Jathika Sangamaya challenging the legalities of the Peace Accord and the Ceasefire demanding that the accords with the LTTE be quashed and made ineffective on very legally substantial grounds of which most importantly, it has been pointed out: That Under the Ammended Constitution Of 1978 the Prime Minister has no power to represent the Government in the ultimate ratification of Parliamentary Acts and decision making which is the sole right of the President who has also expressed great concerns and dissent at the ungainly concept of Norway being permitted the right to demarcate territory and dictate terms rather than the Sri Lankan Goverment and that it threatens the Territorial and Sovereign Integrity of the Nation.A challenge which if acceded to without bias or prejudice in favour of the Administration should hold up in Courts depending on its credibilities and the interpretation of Statutes. It continues to say that concessions given to the LTTE, a group of terrorists which the petition argues are internationally condemned terrorists who have no right to any concessions based on the International Alliance Against Terrorism set in place after the Sept.11th attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon in the USA which has decreed that all terrorists need to be brought to justice for their crimes against humanity where the LTTE have been visibly included as classifed terrorists, a key issue included in the petiton questioning the Sri Lankan Government's Peace Accord and Ceasefire Agreement. The undeniable right to determine its Sovereignity and Integrity is unquestionably that of the Sinhala Nation and the vision of the President and the Sinhala Factions in agreement with her is the only norm by which the restoration of normalcy to Sri Lanka can be measured. The dependencies on mediators such as Norway are week kneed, backboneless and a reflection of the Administrative incapabilities of the Wickremasinghe Government which cannot resolve issues at hand in conjunction with what they should be able to identify as key issues towards preserving the Sovereign Integrity of Sri Lanka which is rathat pathetic especially when thay appear to be unable to make unilateral decision without cajoling and coercion!! decision which will at least be in favour of the Majority of The Population to which it is hoped they belong! As the sole rightful representative of the Sinhala Nation now taking on the role of Matriarch left vacant by her dear departed mother, the President has expressed in rightful disdain that " This is the first time in the history of Post Independent Sri Lanka ( historically it goes back much further and the word 'never' probably more appropriate!) that a Foreign Government has been authorized to draw demarcation lines on the soil of Sri Lanka and that the submission of such crucial matters to the binding authority of an individual nominated by a Foreign Government appears to be wholly inconsistent with the Sovereignity of the People of Sri Lanka" and what could better express her status as the only representative of Sri Lanka both legally and logically adequately equipped to implement the correct procedures towards a restoration of normalcy to Sri Lanka. In the event that the feedback towards the concept that Sri Lanka Should be able to resolve its woes without foreign intervention is pre-empted as being negative, one has to ponder upon the credibilities of an aftermath of positive interpretation by the LTTE that the very intervention by a foreign power visibly in their favour comprising of a last ditch effort to save their hides if upturned may easily trigger mayhem and something which could have been avoided if there had been insight and motivation on the part of the Adminstration to go it alone with the sole objective of putting down the internal armed insurrection against a Sovereigh Nation which it simply amounts to. To quote a recent submission "We Are A Peaceful Nation, Struggling The Struggle But We Don't Look For Trouble, Just Ask Around! But When Unknown Faces, From Foreign Places,Talk About taking Over We Dont Stand Around. We Will Climb Any Mountain, We Will Cross Any Seas, We Will Follow Our Pursuits, In Our Quest For Peace. Thus Concede Nothing That Belongs To Us That Right Is Ours, Not A Blade Of Grass! " Quoted from a West Indian Calypso.
