LTTE Attrocities Condemned By Many Non- LTTE Supportive Tamils A Turning Of The Tide?

The latest news reports which indiicate that many non-LTTE supportive Tamil Websites are in total disagreement with the LTTE apppear to be a turning of the tide by many Tamils categorically opposed to the LTTE and their modus operandi and that that they are indeed prepared to face upto the mendacious LTTE.

The ordinary peace loving Tamil community of a more moderate perspective and direction have shown anger, disdain and contempt towards the LTTE and it is high time the Sri Lankan authorities paid more attention to the significance of all this while also bearing in mind that there exists in certain undisclosed recesses of Sri Lanka a very significant entity known as the Karuna factor which could possibly be utilised towards fortifying at best what the Nation probably needs the most at the present time!. The exploitation of an advantage which could reap huge benefits fot the nation while synonymously getting rid of the vermin which have plagued it for decades!

The anger of the more moderate Tamils, contemptible and critical of the ruthlessness of the LTTE and an eventful coming together of the determinations of Karuna and these non LTTE supportive Tamils of Sri Lanka could signify a very advantageous scenariowith a very beneficial end result for the Sinhala Nation where the LTTE might eventually be boxed in to an inescapable corner, sought out and destroyed!

Speculative nonethelss but worth a shot according to a top ranking military analyst who has also posed the question,"So what good are the law enforcement agencies of a Sovereign Nation, its Army, Navy Airforce and Police if they are restrained from executing the laws of the land and blocked from protecting its citizens from a bunch of self centered murderers aided by Administrative bureaucracies and red tape whose momentums towards their insurgent capabilities appear to be gaining strength with the advent of time?

While it augurs well for the Sinhala Nation and all of Sri Lanka that the voicings of the moderate Tamils are increasing in volume. it is perhaps also about time the Authorities too lent support to this concept and fuelled through every possible legitimate means the dissent by these peaceloving non LTTE supportive Tamils and commenced an all out campaign to subjugate and suppress the LTTE and eventually drive them out of commission as the buck has to stop somewhere as far as toleraring the LTTE with impunity and passive responses.

After all one also has to consider in anticipation at some stage that the superpowers of the World, hell bent in their war against international terrorism will also eventually cast more than a passing glance towards the dire need of Sri Lanka to counter and eliminate the LTTE criminals based in that country where all their effects and objectives will be rent asunder and eventually cast into the Indian Ocean to finish off the devastations of the Tsunami in the Wanni which probably needed mopping up operations as an aftermath but overlooked in the ahimsa which prevailed at the time!

The LTTE in their latest high handed brutal killing of Jaffna Superintendent of Police Charles Wijeywardena have certainly overstepped their boundaries, this was not a simple retaliatory murder of an unknown coincidentally triggered off by accident ! it was the systematic, cold blooded kidnapping, torture, beheading and eviscerating of a prominent member of the Sri Lankan Police Force in charge of operations in Jaffna where the criminals need to be apprehended and executed for murder in the first degree!

It is indeed high time the Government of Sri Lanka threw in a tangible effort to maintain its assertions and entitlements towards defending and protecting the Sovereign Territory and Integrity of Sri Lanka and those who dedicate their lives and careers to uphold it, rather than respond with meaningless rhetoric which seems to have all but conveyed complaisance and a hesitancy on their part relative to a righteousness towards maintaining the Peace Agreement and Ceasefire which the LTTE are undoubtedly taking full advantage of as they continue to violate it and the Sri Lankan Authorities are all but a laughing stock at the beating they continue to take from many quarters!

The time therefore seems quite appropriate for the thugs and cowardly underworld type criminal element of the LTTE to be confronted and taken to task by a consortium of international and national law enforcement agencies regardless of the time and resources it might involve.

A time for all International Sources who carry huge banners and scream loud wassails against the evils of terrorism to join hands with the Sri Lankan Authorities to bring to justice the destructive forces of the LTTE, being the huge threat to the Nation of Sri Lanka they pose as long as they continue in their terrorist garb and identity.

Failing which the reprisal to the Nation from the already established inroads of the LTTE such as their aerial capabilities, monitoring of strategic locations, their recently established satellite feed and the surreptitious stalkings of prominent members of Sri Lanka's Administraive and Defence infrastructure through all the skullduggery the LTTE are reputed for may once again result in dire reprisals and a heavy price paid for the Admiunistrative negligence and indifference to a threat which literally stares Sri Lanka in the face!

Somewhat prophetic sounding reports despite the paranoia depicted, posted in manyTamil websites recently and in particular the prominent Website 'Thenee', have warned the powers that be within Sri Lanka specifically as quoted"that anyone can be the target now after the murder of Superintendent of Police, Charles Wijewardene.

If the Tigers are furious they may abduct you and kill or else they might hack you to death. Diplomats and NGOs must think twice before they set foot into Killinochchi. You cannot witness such barbaric acts in any other freedom movement in the whole world. These characteristics found ingrained in Veerapan and international Mafia gangs are now exhibited in the ranks of the LTTE.

They will torture and kill, they will film the killings, and they will show that to the media and would enjoy those barbaric scenes as the heroic deeds of the Tigers. The killing of Police Superintendent Charles Wijeywardena is a brutal act to blacken the image of the innocent Tamil people. Are the Tamils barbarians, as revealed in the brutalities of the Tigers? It won’t be a surprise, if these cutthroats tomorrow claim that former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Pathmanabha, Neelan Thiruchelvam, Amirthalingham, Rajani Thiranagama and others were also killed by the Tamil people" ending quote .

One might wonder if the authorities are waiting for an auspicious time and the veritable beetle leaf invitation and Magul Bera to begin appropriate actions and to take remedial steps towards thwarting what appears to be a distinctly bold affront by the LTTE and a testing of the minds of the Nation's highest defence strategists!
