Southern Voices Join In Demanding Where The Government's Prioriries Are And Why?

The Southern voices have unequivocally and quizzically asked the Wickremasinghe Administration why the needs of the Sinhala Nation are being given secondary priority as opposed to the demands of the LTTE and Norway in pursuing a mode of complacency (in reality more likely a dancing to their tunes!). Voices gaining momentum with each passing day.

Regardless of the roadblocks which were removed within and without the city there seem to be far greater blockages being imposed on the Sinhala Nation by way of the removal of many security aspects set in place by the previous Administration which have been rather ungraciously and somewhat foolishly pre-empted probably in the hope that it may lend credibility to the "Peace Process'' as echoed by some or might it be a "Process of Pieces".

The term subjugation through intimidation comes to mind in cross referencing the Government's attitude towards the LTTE demands which are not only incongruous and preposterous considering the vulnerability it is more than likely to leave the Nation in but one of total compromise as it has been rumored in hushed undertones that the Big Wigs of the UNP caucuses are rather weak kneed and apprehensive of the LTTE 'might' as it is alleged that the ultimatums delivered to the Administration by the self imposed 'Fuhrer' Prabhakaran has them literally shaking in their shoes! something ignoble and never an achilles heel of the previous PA Administration and Bravo! to them for having stood their ground and to Madam President who still continues her skepticisms about being overly conciliatory towards the LTTE.

In the latest vaguely coherent monologue broadcast through LTTE news engines and most often contradictory beyond belief !, they refer to the ethnic hatred displayed by Sinhala Military Leaders towards the Tamil Community when it is painfully obvious that the boot is on the other foot as far as the accusations go and the visibly displayed racial hatred stems from the LTTE who have spared no pains in the butchery of innocent Sinhala villagers and the vicious torture and ruthless treatment given to Military Personnel who have unfortunately fallen into their hands where the Geneva Convention was shaped into a mendacious kite and released into the skies! rather than being adhered at ground level. This outcry of racial hatred upon which most of the LTTE demands are based appears to be almost a plea to the Administration based on which it expected to provide their 'Sine Qua Non' demands which outwardly seems plausible even to the likes of Norway.

As the voices from the South endorsed by the Nationalistic pride of many sons and daughters of Sri Lanka become voluminous! and very justifiably concerned about why the two priorities, one to the Sinhala Nation and the other to the proscribed LTTE are being shuffled in the wrong order in the manner of the veritable 'Cart before The Horse', there appears to be no respect towards whose predominant right it is to their security and affirmation of : One Nation, One Voice, Sans Fear, Oppression, and a positive means towards accessing the Cutting Edge Advancements Of International Technology and Progress where their needs are presently blocked off due to a complete lack of vision by an Administration stumbling in an inane rush to please the vicissitude of the wretched rather than that of the aptly deserving!!!!
