Although The LTTE appear to have fooled the world that they are now a transformed benevolence towards the well being of Peace in Sri Lanka they are merely fooling themselves in the long run as they are now under microscopic scrutiny as to their every movement which may compromise the security of Sri Lanka, particularly by the US and Indian Governments who are not only monitoring them but has commenced a rather seemingly routine movement of powerfully equipped military vessels in and out of Sri Lankan ports and if the LTTE have any sense towards their own well being they should stand to attention and be counted if they falsely believe through the cross eyed interpretations of their idealogues that they are well on their way towards their own goals and ambits as they may be in for a rude shock to the contrary!

W hile continuing to defy all opposition , taking out their political opponents through bold assassinations under the nose of authority despite the so called ceasefire, which merely contains the Sri Lankan Armed Forces the LTTE maintain their agenda of personnel expansions despite international legislation and demands calling for a halt to their activities such as their quasi administrative, legal and financial operations in parts of the North and North East of Sri Lanka where the extortion of unlawful taxes, smuggling of arms including heavy weapons and a continued build up of their their military resources are a fact of daily life and blatantly visible with hardly a viable response from the present administration.

That their military machine is being geared up with single-minded dedication to achieve their goal of secession from which they have hardly backed off other than in pretence is also painfully obvious without leaving much to conjecture and the need for the law to close in on them without further balyhooing about peace or its attributes as defined to their advantage only must be an imperative consideration as the longer the prevaricatiing continues between the LTTE and the UNF Administration the greater the damage will be to the Nation and its credibilities in the eyes of the world where the definitions of an appropriate resolution stares the Administration in the face fully supported by the International Community yet an Administration hesitant to make the move which will assert its authority on behalf of the citizens of Sri Lanka while maintaining Sovereignity and Territorial Integrity even if it needs a little help from powerful allies.

The mere thought as a concept of their most recent demand that the Government of Sri Lanka grants them an Interim Administration to portions of Sri Lankan territorial waters in the Indian Ocean and conceding to their demands for an administrative arrangement outside the Constitution of Sri Lanka with powers to administer the North and East of the country is beyond all norms of rationality governing Democracy and the Sovereignity of a Nation within the Commonwealth of Nations and by no means demands, any government of any country could concede without sacrificing the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity as the LTTE continue their charade of self righteousness which has thus far fooled no one except themselves as theirs is a demand which could hardly be met by virtue of its incongruance and irrationality.

It is apt and in all wisdom that presently all security measures have once again been set in place in the event of a need to thwart off any attempts by the LTTE to re-commence physical aggresion and insurgent activity albeit the image of insecurity it may create in the eyes of the analysts who may argue that Peace cannot be accomplished with weapons pointed between the two factions seeking it but it has also to be considered that one of the entities have a Sovereign and Democratic Right to protect its territory and population where the other has none through criminal identity and thereby proscribed internationaly.

There have been references to the LTTE having a masterplan towards surprising a rather complacent Sri Lankan Military with their surreptitious guerilla tactics for which they have evil repute in the past and perhaps mythical in present conditions as it would all but anihilate the LTTE and its existence as any force whether of a military or political nature as they have lost their credibilities in the eyes of the world after the US backed war on terror which has promulgated internationally the awareness and need to stamp out entities of disrepute engaged in terrorist activities designed to destroy rather than create.

Politically the LTTE have little or no identity conducive towards acceptance within a free society unless they attempt to build up such an identity in accordance with International Demands which they continue to defy and Militarily contrary to popular belief their might by comparison to that of the Re-Vamped Sri Lankan Security Forces seems insignificant as the fortifications set in place by Sri Lanka perhaps unknown to the LTTE and ably supported by its allies amongst world superpowers, awesome by comparison as giants to minnows have pledged their fullest support if necessary to thwart off any LTTE aggression if needed and the simplest of messages should go out to them that theirs would be a lost cause should they pursue an avenue of aggression this time around!

To the protagonists of doom and disaster for Sri Lanka at the hands of the LTTE it must be mentioned in no uncertain terms that their propaganda could easily be interpreted as an avenue of sedition and incitement which needs to be punished within the fullest definitions of justice involving the maximum penalty despite the futility of their broadcast messages of doom as has been cited by a so called Senior Tamil politician as the scaremongering seems to have commenced already as a backdrop to LTTE dissatisfaction relative to where the present Peace initiatives are headed much to their chagrin!!.

That the LTTE have a single agenda on their minds is a fact of life within the analytical as well as ordinary minds of the Sri Lankan people but as to whether the LTTE are ever going to accomplish their goals is another matter! That the LTTE in their present guise needs to be taken to task is also a matter worthy of consideration collectively by all parties within Sri Lanka who should unite as an unassailable force with international backing to purge the Nation of vermin which continue to disrupt all attempts towards accomplishing a a lasting peace as they present their own agenda as a priority over the needs of a Sovereign Nation while continuing to be a visible minority on the decline.
