The Rhetoric of Commentators Of Self-Concieved LTTE Propaganda Not Aligned With Reality.

Perhaps commentators such as Thillaikoonathan of the Tamil Daily Thinahural are day dreaming themselves if they categorically believe that the LTTE will be permitted to resume attrocities and return to an unmitigated war in gay abandon! ignored by the International Community and The World Super Powers which suggests that such commentators are probably warmongering themselves while permitting their rather eccentric rationales to go overboard completely, unaligned with reality.Of such seems the rhetoric of self concieved LTTE propaganda not aligned with reality

Such commentary probably needs to be confronted on the basis that contrary to the predictions about the next move of the LTTE and regardless of self conceived images of LTTE capabilities the fact remains that they really have nowhere to run in the event of a foolhardy return to war as it will probably be their swansong.

Such commentators seem to have chosen deliberately to ignore the very recent open warnings issued to the LTTE by the US and Indian Governments in official bulletins to the effect that they would not tolerate any terrorist activities in the region which would hamper the cause of regional peace and the development of Sri Lanka and that their only option is a return to the Peace Talks but then in the case of this particular commentary the commentator and the chronicle are probably more disposed towards interpretations in and of a language contrary to the English Language and thereby revealing a probable incapacity towards comprehension, the entities and language concerned being of a relatively foreign nature perhaps !

Any comments made in a bi-partisan manner supportive of the LTTE resorting to aggression at this stage of the Peace Process whether deadlocked or not, should be interpreted as treasonous and dealt with under the Prevention of Terrorism Act which is due to be initiated shortly if negitiations are successful to that effect in a climate where the LTTE through their leadership, idealogues and news engines have continued to maintain their disinterest in a return to hostilities as they are fully aware of who the real losers will be in such an unfortunate eventuality.

In an amazingly naive interpretation the Thinakural report has suggested that India has turned a deaf ear on Sri Lankan entreaties for military support to preserve Jaffna and refered to the Sinhala Majority as ' ungrateful' where the stark reality of the issue at hand was that the report of Sri Lanka turning to India for military help was grossly misconstrued and misreported by the LTTE Newsmedia for their own convenience and for the sake of propaganda where India though reluctant to be directly involved in any ensuing conflict at the time for obvious reasons never denied supporting the cause of Sri Lankan Sovereignity and Territorial Integrity and is presently head hunting for the LTTE leader in hiding Pirapaharan and has always maintained unequivocably that India's prime concern is for regional stability which indeed will be ursurped if Thillaikoonathan's pipe dream ( which is what it appears to be!)of the resumption of LTTE attrocities ever becomes a reality.Contrary to his idealogical beliefs both India and the US would have very good reasons to intervene in defending Sri Lanka's Sovereign and Territorial Integrity as will the rest of the World Powers including the Soviet Union, China and Great Britain together with a host of lesser regional and international powers where the interpretation of support has been defined beyond uncertain terms and in the cause of eliminating global terrorism.

Perhaps the recent movements of the Indian Navy in Sri Lankan Territorial Waters and high tech missile equipped US Warships in and out of Sri Lankan Naval Facilities too may be deemed coincidental and brushed aside by the promoters of LTTE firepower in these brazen dialogues with no consideration towards the implications of their presence and activities.

That the President has warned of a need to gear up militarily in the event of any fancy ideas by the LTTE with designs on the North and North East is an indication of the preventive measures which need to be taken in hindsight and to beef up Sri Lanka's defences seems a natural course of actions which should not be interpreted as a distinct possibility of a return to war by the LTTE as they have now been given a great deal of credibility that their sense of intelligence with any concern for the well being of the Tamil Community will prevail through their only recourse which is a continuation of the Peace which has lasted thus far!

If these are apprehensions expressed on behalf of the future of the LTTE they are understandable as presently the future for them as a terrorist group unrelenting of their goals and arms buildups seems abjectly bleak and probably holds nothing for them in the long run as their condemnation will only increase globally!
