Demands For Military Equality By LTTE Wishful Thinking!

The centimetres of tolerance and concessions given them by the UNF Government have now been transformed into Kilometres as the LTTE continue demanding rather obtusely for a recognition they will never be entitled to if the accords against International Terrorism are upheld unconditionally. Namely military equality with the Sri Lankan Military which is mere wishful thinking on their part. The clowns within their organisation never seem to desist from their imagined righteousness that they are a legitimate group when the stark reality albeit the UNF's label of legitimacy and the shadow dancing of the likes of Prof.G.L.Peiris and Anton Stanislaus Balasingham is that they are an internationally outlawed terrorist group whose leader Pirapaharan is wanted by Interpol as well as the Indian Government for crimes against humanity and assassination of a world leader and for them to issue warnings to the contrary of their legitimacy falls short of ignoranceand apathy.

It is fast becoming an imperative necesssity for the administration as well as the opposition to rally round the issue of reminding the LTTE who they are, where they are headed and what is expected of them where the buck fall short of any further concessions to them currently being heralded through the flawed and visibly meaningless Peace Process where they, the LTTE seem to have been carried away though some ill conceived idealogy that they have been granted free access to roam about propagating their nefariously illegitimate activities,attacking shipping on the high seas, murdering their opponents which has now spread to previously restricted areas perhaps through the myopic Government's neglect! and maintaining their status quo as terrorists while the emperor with no clothes, his excellency Ranil looks on and his dumbfounded countrymen stare on in disbelief at the goings on in Sri Lanka!

Duplicity at its brilliant best is what now seems to be tolerated through the meaninglessly shallow rhetoric of the Administration whose jargon tantamounts to the acceptance of an entity pressing towards anarchy and further destabilzation of an already hard hit sovereignity while the reality of legitimacy of its democratically elected government is being blatantly circumvented by an illegal terror group which to all intents and purposes need to be put down legally through an international coalition of ultimatums which might eventually entail unlimited means and contained within the norms of reality and rationality and made defunct in the best interests of Sri Lanka.

They have proved beyond reasonable doubt that their interests do not accommodate a building of Sri Lanka to her fullest potential and towards tranquility and peace but to the contrary are hell bent on building an eelam of their own design. Why else would they have the audacity to demand a strengthening of their military might on a par with the legitimate Military Forces of Sri Lanka while continuing all their activities which still include conscriptions of personnel, children included, arms buildups and expansion of their networks within Sri Lanka which have been ironically all but wiped out elsewhere in the world ?

Besides making it sound like an International joke of somekind, being something unprecedented in the history of the world under any system of government it is also a logically impractical situation falling short of making a mockery of the democratically elected Government of Sri Lanka and a suggestion which demands scant respect and needs immediate trashing and getting on with the immediate business in hand of restoring Sri Lanka's development with no compromises to terrorists and unilaterally so by the majority in charge aided by the rest of the Sri Lankan Ethnic Divide towards posterity!!

The LTTE have created their own problems towards being stuck in a quagmire while being no representation fully of the Tamil Community and struggling as they gradually sink into the vortex of their own destruction hence the last ditch efforts of desperation towards their own survival seen visibly in all their recent posturings to which a namby pamby administration seems to be paying homage with rank disregard to the Sinhala Nation and concerns for its future!

The LTTE are probably aware of Sri Lanka's Military Modernization aided by the leading Superpowers and immediate neighbours India and possibly Pakistan who now regard the LTTE as being a regional threat in addition to being an entity whose forward surges have indicated their foremost intention of destabilizing the sovereignity and territorial integrity of a Democratically Elected Independent Republic within the United Nations and Commonwealth and an ambition the LTTE appear to have no intentions whatsoever to desist from and by their request for militaly equality with that of Sri Lanka have become very transparent as to where they are coming from and where they are headed?

Into complete oblivion it is hoped in the best interests of Sri Lanka while exhorting the power which eventually will be able to assert this reality as it will undoubtedly be the power best entitled and equipped to govern Sri Lanka for generations to come as a United Impenetrable Republic of Tranquility and Peace.
